The term "New" covenant directs you back to the "old", law, mosaic covenant for contrast and understanding. (rejecting the idea of types and antitypes notwithstanding).

Was not the majority of the worshipping nation in the Law covenant? all of them bound by it? why should it be different today?

If you could see the future would you use it?

if you had the ability to know what the future held would you use this ability?.

jws say that jehovah can see the future but he just choses not to.

which never made sense to me, as if he did use that ability then a lot of the stuff that went wrong could have been avoided.. it never made sense.

I think even a possible creator can not see all the future, although, if he is eternal, he already is there, always has been there, permanently (by himself).

The future of us, as we travel through time, is empty, there is nothing to see. We can predict certain events that will happen in the future, such as : 21/07/2017 9am. , and act accordingly, --but changing it? no, use it?, yes.

The canard of wt is that the spiritual israel is 144 ooo. that is like saying the nation of Israel in the Law covenant was composed of the tribes of Levi and Judah. the priests and the kings. Read Rev 7, the original 144 chapter, read it please again, again if you have too: The 144 k come OUT OF the twelve tribes, they are not the only Israel. They are at best 2/12 fraction. at best, or worst.

New covenant is for forgiveness of sins, all embracing, kingdom covenant: to come. ( if there really was a talking snake.

which world is this?_________________when the doctor pulled my screaming body out of mom all those 7 decades ago, i landed in a post-wwii world.it was--compared to today's world--an alien planet.. the world i live in today has nothing in common with the world in which i grew up.. there were no cell phones back then--there were black telephones with a dial-tone and an operator who placed your call.

everywhere you found telephone booths!

My brain is cluttered with old stickers.

Terry, do not call it that: clutter. I have started to just write one line notes on things that happened, what I do not normally remember during day to day activities. . an amazing chain of unrelated events, just to reflect on of what happened on the journey.

That journey is your legacy, it does good to reflect on that. it is a moving experience as moving gets more and more difficult.

yesterday's random entry: Event at x construction company, a one ton facing stone, being lifted to the 10st floor broke loose and smashed down, 8 feet from me, through a ready to pour floor forming and collapsing the whole section right beside me. My comment to the foreman: "Just wait until the rest come down' soon,-- soon like at Armageddon" ha ha, that was 47 years ago, prior to 1975. thank you wt.

that is an amazing achievement, even for the care takers. There must be something to being a lady, live in that latitude, (the french record holder lived in the general region too) The genetic make up of the southern Europeans. wish I could live that long too.

read this over at reddit so the credit goes to the person over there but in genesis 4:22 it's say one of the offspring of adam knew how to work with iron roughly 130 years after the creation of man.

now historians and scientists say man didn't figure out how to use iron until about 1100 bc, man we're we wrong!

it's also interesting that cain is building a city when there like 10 people on the planet and nimrod goes on to build the tower of babel only about 100 year after the flood.

Memorial Bread-Break a piece off or eat whole?

did those who professed to be of the anointed and partook of the bread, did they break off a piece of the bread and then eat it; or did they take the whole piece and eat it?

never realized that parrots could partake. Who am I to judge them?
