  Another Bible Error: The Disciples' Journey

  the story about the instructions jesus allegedly gave to his disciples before they were to set out on their evangelizing journey illustrates the type of contradictions which are found in the gospel stories.

  in their two accounts of this event, the authors of mark and matthew disagree about whether jesus wanted the disciples to carry a staff with them.

  mark tells us jesus told the disciples to go forth with a staff:.

  i understand that jehovah's witnesses teach that jesus is not god, but the author of revelation seems to teach otherwise:.

  yahweh speaking: "i am the alpha and the omega," says the lord god" (revelation 1:8).

  more yahweh: "i am the alpha and the omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

  Here is a fun one to show a JW. Take the NWT Reference Bible and turn to 1 Peter 3:15 But santify the Christ as Lord* in your hearts,......

  See the asterix at the end of the word Lord*

  Look at the reference for verse 15 and the word Lord at the bottom of the page. The reference says: 15* "The Christ as Lord," ABC;TR, "the Lord God"; "Jehovah God."

  Also see I Thessalonians 4:15-16 15. For this is what we tell you by Jehovah's* word, that we the living who survive to the presence of the Lord# shall in no way precede those who have fallen asleep [in death]; 16 because the Lord* himself will decend from heaven with an archangel's voice.......

  The reference for Lord in verse 16 refers to the Lord as Jehovah

  The NWT refers to Jesus as Jehovah.

  Edmond C.Gruss has a book that was written by him and Leonard Chretien in 1997 called:
  Jehovah's Witnesses their Monuments to False Prophecy

  There is a couple pictures of Russell standing by the Great Pyramid on page 17. I am sure RR has a picture or two of Russell by the Pyramid with his tape measure and yard stick.

  You mentioned that my intent is to discredit (everything you say).
  This of course is a lie in itself.

  I have no axe to grind with you or any of your BS friends. I do have an axe to grind with ones that push pseudo fantasy and declare it TRUTH. If one follows your BS friends as I have and a few others, they eventually see how things are distorted by you and others of your faith.

  Because my posts were continually edited or removed from the PRESENT TRUTH FORUM by the moderator who I see as a control freak, I no longer post on that forum. I hope that Defender's revamping of his (THE DEVINE PLAN AND ITS CHRONOLOGY) book will be on the internet for others to see. I would be intersted in seeing the changes compared to his first original. I still have the copy he sent me a few years ago.

  Also, I am still waiting for the history book you have been writing. Hopefully it will be backed by facts and not speculations that change as Russell's dates have.
