an ex-jw friend of mine once agreed with me that the letters in the "questions from readers" section in the wt/awake!
were all made up by the wbts.. does anybody have any evidence either way?.
has anybody had their "question" published?.

the following is what really irritates me:.
i'm just about to tuck into a $100 meal when some ignorant b*****d lights up.
when nobody lets me out of the side road onto the freeway.
This is great!
Looks like everyone on this forum is not guilty of all those irritating things that irritate all of us!
I've got this theory that, upon joining this forum (JWD) we all become completely free of irritating others!
Now, if everybody joined JWD, what a wonderful life it would be...bliss!!

ScoobySnax,
Where exactly are you coming from Spanner....??? Wake up...the majority of Witnesses AREN'T in the USA,
Sorry to prompt such an aggressive reply from you, ScoobySnax. Most reasonable people would see that, in my enthusiasm to get my point across, my terminology got a little inaccurate. As I am sure you are aware, what I meant was that there are more JWs in the States than in any other single country.
And again,
and sorry to burst your bubble, but the mags do have a sort of global distribution
I don't really see why you felt you had to try and be "clever" here. The WBTS is in the Guinness Book Of Records for being the most prolific publishers in the world. From what I said above, it is obvious that I meant an "even" global distribution.
There is no need to apologise for "bursting my bubble", there wasn't a "bubble" to start with.

People walking r.e.a.l.l.y. s.l.o.w.l.y. when you are behind them
People as above, then stop to look into a shop window...AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
Builders who don't turn up when they said they would
The person paying at the checkout who waits until the last moment to bring out the credit card, store points card,etc-... I'm just about going mental now...
Stupid milk cartons that are not made for humans to open...damn those lucky lions!
I could go on forever, but I'm not! I'll leave it up to you...
What irritates the F**K out of you?

what is this preoccupation that jw have where they feel they hold the patent and use of certain words?
take the word friend for instance.
they are always talking about the "friends" this or the "friends" that, even when they are talking about people they don't even know.
Farkel,
:They've stolen almost every single one of their beliefs from others. If the Watchtower Society is notable for anything, its that they are not capable of any original thought.
Yes, that was apparent right from the start wasn't it Farkel? With old Charlie Russell pinching the Seventh-day Adventist prophecies?

Must be made up. I just selected an Awake! completely at random (March 8 2002). There are seven letters - two from Italy, one each from Germany, Japan, India, Czech Republic and the USA. Only ONE from the USA! As everybody knows, the majority of JWs are in the States, but reading where these letters (allegedly) came from implies a global JW distribution!
And another thing...ALL the letters have the same "style" and, dare I say it, intellect...You know, as if all of the bullshit has come from the same person...

Hi, Out4good3.
I get a lot of "friend" or "friends" from my JW wife.
Another similar-meaning word is "auntie". Every "friendly" woman is "auntie so and so..."
Auntie is also used for potential new recruits, I've noticed. Getting them used to being called auntie... EVERY time their name is mentioned - forever.
Quick mention on another one...Jehovah. It has to be Jehovah God. Just in case He mistakes a JW referring to that other god, who is just plain old "God", so not the true God, Jehovah.
What a bunch of arrogant twits!

here's my one and only spooky story.. my wife goes to visit her jw sister, who lives several hundred miles away, about once a year.
while she is away, i get some major diy jobs done.
she is away at the moment, so i'm fitting a new bathroom.
Six, you wrote:
Let me make it clear that I am not one for imagining things,
Well, obviously you did in this case. Why would you even think for a second there is another explanation?
I'm afraid you do not make sense!
The whole reason why I was looking for another explanation is because I knew I didn't imagine it!
