Movement to 'Draft" Hillary

some months ago i heard that hillary will be drafted as president at the democratic convention.

well, this is no longer a rumor.

on the hannity & colmes show last night, foxnews, this 'rumor' was confirmed to be true.. the reason for the public silence (not told on the show) but by the rumor mill, is to keep hillary on a low profile, not to create a public stir.

Good lord. There is nothing more arrogant than running for (and destroying the chances of good men like John McCain while your at it) the Presidency when you have none of the qualification to be the leader of the greatest, most influential nation. GW Bush has zero qualification to lead the world or our nation in a time of peace, let alone terror.
I'm getting to the point I'm beyond disgusted by people who fall for GW Bush's playing dress up. The man is small. He can fit in any pocket, and still have room for his cronies.

Ok, what are the qualifications for a president? What qualifications did Clinton (or for that matter Reagan) have that Bush didn't/doesn't have? What qualifications does Hilary have? Being the president's wife?

Every politician is going to "play the game" to some degree but Clinton (both of them) sold out to the highest bidder. The White House was up for auction those 8 years. You'd think coming humble beginnings (well, Bill anyway) that the both of them would better identify with us common people. Nope. How disappointing.

I'm not saying that Bush knows what it's like to be in my shoes running a small manufacturing business. Lord knows he was born with several silver spoons in his mouth. But at least he's not afraid to act on what he believes. I respect that.

Personally I think that Hillary threatens a lot of men because she is intelligent, independent, and very capable. I would vote for her over the shrub any day of the week. So many of these threads start getting to name calling, pointing fingers, and threats. It is sad. Loosen up, life is great.

Why is it that men get pegged with feeling "threatened" just because they wouldn't vote for Hillary Clinton? In a heartbeat I'd vote for someone who's "intelligent, independent and very capable" no matter if they were male or female. To me Hilary Clinton is a perfect example of what's wrong with America today. We have so many "elitests" who are going to champion for the common man but instead use them to line their own pockets. I'm not saying Bush is the perfect president but at least he doesn't pretend to be something that he isn't.

The fact that she stayed so many years with a man who cheated on her repeatedly and made her look like a fool shows me what she's made of. Independent? Intelligent? Very capable? I think not. I imagine her thinking "I'll put up with being made the fool shi* because I know it's the easiest way to win a Senate seat."

me, i don't watch football as much as i used to.

i'm from huntington, wv and the football team there is marshall university "the thundering herd".

Usually I'll go with the standard "Indiana Jones....Star Wars....Matrix 1...etc..." but one movie that I just saw for the first time was great. "Scent of a Woman" with Al Paccino. Wasn't the most complicated storyline but, wow, that his character was awesome. I like movies that surprise me like that.

I have no problem punishing real terrorists. But what is the best way to prevent terrorism? Simple. Stop engaging in it.

Yeah, right. I can just see it now....terrorists sitting down and thinking about the US in a rational manner. Think about it. Terrorists started having a field day in the '70s when ol' Jimmy Carter was president. Regan came in, started kicking some ass (or at least put forth that image) and it stopped. Years later another weak president comes to power, Clinton, and the terrorism starts again. Bush comes to power, kicks some ass, and things have died down. Maybe there will be another 911 again, maybe not but thank God we don't have a spineless dude for president.

And regarding the US and it's action. When the hell did the US become the knight in shining armor? The US government looks out for it's own people and the interest of other nations that share the same interests. Does that such at times? Hell yeah! It sucked for those 200,000 Japanese that were blotted out by the atomic bombs. Before that it sucked for the American Indians and since then has sucked for others. But it's no differnt then other nations, esp. the super powers throughout history. But one thing is for sure. The US has done more FOR other countries then any other nation in history. Compare the heydays of Britain, Holland, France, etc and each of those countries stripped other nations of their riches, killed thousands and left them in ruin.

Why is everyone surprised that there are economic reasons in this war? Duh, it's no differnt that most wars in our history. While I don't believe it's the sole or main reason we went to Iraq, it wouldn't surprise me. Heck, why do you this Germany, Russia and France didn't want Saddam out of power? Because they hate war? Nope. It was because they were making money doing business with Iraq. It just bugs me that this "I'm getting mine" is a Republican label. Look how Clinton and his crownies sold the US out to the Chinese....but that's a differnt topic. The sooner people learn that the rich and power look out for each other (no matter what party they belong to) the better.

The world is a better place without Saddam. The Iraqi people are going to be better without him. If he wasn't taken out, in ten years we'd have another North Korea on our hands. No weapons of mass destruction? At what point do you stand by and wait? Now look at whats going on in Iran. For years they have denied have a nuke program but now ooops, yeah they have one. And getting back to Iraq. If the US is soooo interested in controlling their oil, they why anounce that we're accelerating the process of handing power to them? I believe it's now next June when they're to be in control. Why not do what that UN is doing in former Yugoslavia and drag it's feet?

For me, Rumsfeld had the best idea. Go in there, kill Saddam and his goon and let the Iraqis rebuild their own country.

That's what burns them the most, seeing you move on and not caring what the JWs do or think. Writing a letter DA'ing yourself after you've been Df'd gives them this satisfaction that you still need there attention. If anything, write them a letter saying that what to erase any records of being a JW and that you request any records they have on you be destroyed.

People seem to forget that before becoming this "talk radio icon", Rush was just a no-name top 40 dj. Why anyone cared about his daily "bitching" shows is beyond me. Rush represents "white" America about as much as Jesse Jackson represents "black" America. They're both individuals who have done nothing but are great at stirring up peoples emotions. Both love to point out the mistakes of others but fail to live up to their own standards. One has to wonder if Rush would have come forward with this drug problem if he hadn't been caught. I doubt it.
