jesus commanded his followers to preach in the most distant parts of the earth and promised them that the spirit of god would guide them in this life-saving work (acts 1:8).. without the spirit of god, one cannot continue preaching about jesus and god's kingdom (matthew 24:14).
one surely will not have god's spirit if one preaches a negative message (against jehovah's servants) from door to door.
Mormons don't preach about Jesus and his kingdom? Hmmm....I think that the LDS would say the same thing about the Witnesses.
Regarding the Girl Scouts going door to door. They do so to sell cookies, JWs do so to sell magazines. Why not just go door to door with only your Bible instead of placing so much importance on placing lit.?

i used to spend quite a bit of time during my teenage years in what was affectionately called "the green room".
the elders couldn't wait to take out a pen and paper and take pages upon pages of notes while i spoke and my poor parents sat and squirmed.
i wasn't a bad kid, it was always about stupid things, like sister-so-and-so said i wore a short skirt to school, etc.

Amazing is correct. That is the procedure from the guys in Crooklyn, that the local elders destroy hearing notes once their 5 years old. Of course, it's up to the local PO to follow through with these instructions.
On thing that I found interesting in CoC was that Franz told the "brothers" that they could keep copies of the hearing notes if he could also. The alternative was that neither party would keep notes. The Society wrote him saying that there notes were destroyed. Just a point of interest.

I knew I could count on Simon and Englishman to defend soccer's honor. However, for my money, watching a running back bust through for a 30 yard sprint or seeing a QB throw a 70 yard bomb, now THAT's excitement! If the final score is in single digits, count me out. :)

so its a no brainer that nirvana's work should probably have a place in every rock collection, but what are some other albums every rock fan should listen to if not own.
