a resident of a backwater swedish town called trelleborg was shocked to open his mailbox and find a letter addressed to none other than russia’s president, vladimir putin.

the only thing that per's home address has in common with the russian president’s is the number 23, while also noting that the town of trelleborg is roughly 1,532 kilometers (951 miles) from moscow.. .

During the Australian Child Abuse Royal Commission, Jehovah's Witness child abuse survivor, BCG, testified that as a child she would "pray to Jehovah" for protection from being raped. Jehovah did not protect her.

BCG also testified that as a child she went to the elders for help and protection from the Jehovah's Witness rapist. After all the elders represent Jehovah and are appointed by holy spirit. Neither the elders nor Jehovah protected her.

The lesson is not lost on the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses. That is why they never pray and leave it in Jehovah's hands. Nothing happens if they do. Instead they always resort to the United Nations, the courts, or the authorities for protection. They don't practice what they preach. The irony is the governing body claim they report such matters to the authorities and courts so that people, like BCG, can see and benefit from Jehovah's protection in action.

The Branch Recovery Resource Team is a fancy name for an internal accounting department desk (i.e. a 'bean counter') that primarily deals with plant economics and the salvage or residual value of plant and equipment.

This will be interesting. New laws come into force in Russia tomorrow, 8 April, that require Supreme Court hearings to be recorded and broadcasted. This is to show transparency in the judicial system and to prevent claims of corruption.

Drearyweather: Just to confirm here, in the Registered trust deed of my congregation, they have mentioned that the congregation adheres to the biblical teaching and doctrines of the Ecclesiastical Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses and that they are responsible to the creator, Jehovah God. No mention about the country's branch office. So legally, my congregation has no relation with the local branch office.

The following document, in the introduction, establishes the relationship between each congregation and the JW branch office in each country. The evidence is admissable in Russia, and this also is the same setup in Russia as the instructions come from the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. The evidence was firmly established by an Australian Royal Commission.
