i have searched high and low, and for some reason, it is as if it does not exist.. i'm catholic, but for research purposes and as a courtesy to jws, i've put the 1984 and the 2013 versions in a database format for e-sword (e-sword.net).

That's bat shit crazy...Mr Anus Stewart SC is counsel assisting the Child Abuse Royal Commission. Technically speaking he is going after the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Watchtower Society. He is quoting claims made by the JW leaders. It's possible that Stwert SC is making these quotes because he too finds them "bat shit crazy".

governing body was a fiction, not only would they refuse to believe you--they'd consider you their immediate enemy!.

Today's daily text made me laugh!

today, with so much evidence that gods kingdom is already established in heaven, why do the majority of people not accept what this means?

Anointed Christians knew that 1914 would mark a turning point regarding divine rulership. As soon as they discerned the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, they boldly declared to others that God’s rule had begun.
In 1914 the Watchtower was teaching that Jesus had commenced his rulership in heaven in 1874. Also keep in mind they they never knew that Jesus and God had inspected the Watchtower and chosen its corporate leaders as the leaders of a new "revived" religious movement as this inspection and appointment was not due to take place until 1918/1919.
That is why text (and WT) uses the deceptive phrase "as soon as they discerned" which allows for any date from 1914 up to now as the "light gets brighter".
The current teachings re "the fulfillment of Bible prophecy" have only taken place in the past few years. -

Did the society official track each member of the 144,000?
by Bob Loblaw inwhen i left witness land in the early 90's, i remember hearing that out of 144,000 anointed members that there were only 8 to 9 thousand left and then the end will come.. i'm suddenly curious.
the jw organization is one that puts emphasis on tracking, i.e., regular meeting attendance, current standing, field service hours, territory tracking, return visits, etc.
therefore, did the society ever try to track each and every member of the 144,000?

Memorial partakers. This is the number of baptized individuals who partake of the emblems at the Memorial worldwide. Does this total represent the number of anointed ones on earth? Not necessarily. A number of factors—including past religious beliefs or even mental or emotional imbalance—might cause some to assume mistakenly that they have the heavenly calling. We thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know. The Governing Body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones.

Note the date on the below document (bottom LHS): 3/98 - March 1998. This was the publisher record card that was actually in use by the Governing Body of JW's when the above highlighted statement was made in the August 15, 2011, Watchtower magazine.
