  General apology

  i started a topic earlier with the best of intentions and it seems i have angered many people.. i would like to apologise and say again that it wasn't my intention to cause offense - i though the commentary, comparison and the links between the events on the same anniversary were quite interesting and worth noting with lessons that could be learnt.. i'm sorry that some people saw it a different way and hope that we can agree to disagree on this one and not fall out.. i understand that this is a sensitive day for many and that i may misunderstand the way people handle this in the usa compared to how it is marked over here.. - simon

  I've now attempted 4 times to type an apology in return.

  This is the best I can do:

  I apologize to others on the board if I in any way offended you.

  As for the comments I made on the thread:

  I stand by them 110% and I should not ever feel sorry for that.

  You won't get any more trouble from me though. I'll keep my trap shut. I did it for several years at the KH, I can do it now

  hi gang, .

  i went to visit my parents last weekend, taking my lovely wife and her mother (who is visiting us from overseas and happens to be a sincere devout catholic and a wonderful person, and speaks almost no english).

  recently my mother mentioned (via telephone) that she wished my father would buy a new computer (theirs is a vintage 1987 ibm ps/2 25 mhz) so at the last minute i decided to give them one of the old ones i have sitting around, complete with 17" monitor -- a kind of "peace offering".

  If anyone did any saving, it was US that saved YOU because we stood alone against the Nazis long before you decided to enter the war (when attacked).

  Stop trying to re-write history or rely on Hollywood for it.

  Spybot Search & Destroy, need to fix your computer ??????

  thought i would post this, if you are having any computer problems, strange windows popping up, computer saying you have errors (that you probaly don't have), or if you have picked up viruses, try downloading spyboy search and destroy, fixed my computer, i almost went out and bought a new one, now its like having a new computer.. and most important the program is free !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  takes about 15 minutes to run the whole program, found over 900 errors the first time i ran it, now my computer is a 1000 x faster and no stupid errors popping up when on the internet.. anybody else use this program ??????

  can it be a coincidence that the name of the angel, who directed the founder of the mormon religion to the gold plates with the scriptures, was moroni?

  hard to believe!

  it seems to me the founder picked that name on purpose to show how moronic the people are who believed him.
