Hey, I got one too! I was told, "get a life you worldly person"! Ha ha, I'm baptised, so I was never a "worldly person". So there.
My guess is that it is some bored JW kid, who thinks he's safe because Daddy's an elder or MS, yet hasn't got the brains to realise how foolish he looks because of these idiotic emailings!
Perhaps we should look on the bright side : maybe there'll be something he reads that will make him think about the WTS!

I fully agree.
When I first went online I still believed it was the Truth, although I had many questions and doubts. The Net helped me during the different stages I went thru as I learnt the real "Truth". I have made many friends along the way, replacing those that stopped associating with me because I chose to follow my conscience, rather than a man-made religion. I have found people with fellow feeling, who know what it is like on this side of the fence. It really helps to discuss things with those who have been there, seen this, done that.

just wondering..... for those of us who are inactive, or have serious doubts, etc etc... are you going to the memorial, even though you don't fully agree with how they explain things?.
anyone planning to have their own at home?.
or are you still planning on going, even if it's to say g'day to long "lost" friends?.
This may be a bit belated but I wanted to thank everyone for their replies. It is a question I have been thinking of lately, though it seems rather hypocritical to go to the Memorial yet not go to any other meetings. As JAVA said, it's like a form of life insurance.
btw, peaveloveharmony the Memorial is set for Sunday, 8th April.
i have noticed we have several "active" jws on this board, and some of their comments really bother me.. when i was active, when the wtbts said "don't associate with apostates or worldly people" i didn't.
when they said "spend more time in the ministry" i went to school, held down a job.

I was raised as an elder's daughter, and although he stepped down when I was young, I was raised to very strict standards. I firmly believed Armageddon was just a few months, if not years away. I believed there was no point in college education, since this system wasn't going to last very long. I didn't take drugs, didn't get drunk, never had sex. I didn't listen to hard rock. I believed all other religions other than JWs were wrong and destined for destruction. I didn't date guys that were not JWs. I looked forward to Bethel service as a possible goal to work towards. I NEVER would look at apostate literature. Internet sites? Never.
I sometimes wonder which planet Xandit is on, and as for DLJ, I like him but I believe he is on thin ice, particularly since he participates on pro-JW DBs too. It will be a matter of time before he is found out.
