  If his name had been longer I would have had to think about it somemore. It was torture.

  it mainly discusses erica rodriguez' case and several mormon lawsuits.

  bill bowen is quoted in the article as saying "our denomination is now where the catholic church was 20 years ago, right on the edge of a crisis.".

  the main reason for my reluctance to post has been the fact that my job keeps me pretty busy - however i have enjoyed the board so much i felt i would love to be a more tangible presence and have decided to take the plunge.

  i've always wondered if there really is such thing as a paradise and a hope for eternal life would we be limited to interacting with only one person?

  the point could be argued from several perspectives.

  several scriptures would suggest that a man and woman once joined in marriage are to be tied only to each other indefinitely.

  ozziepost and his beautiful wife mrs ozzie are going through a very tough time right now, at the hands of the wts and its henchmen.

  in the space of a few weeks, they have lost their children and other family members due to the unchristian attitudes and pharisaic dogmas, despite having tried to quietly fade away from the wts.

  Sunday movie, "Living with the Dead"

  i thought someone would post about the movie last sunday, (part 2 tonight, tuesday) "living with the dead", starring ted danson.

  it is the story of james van pragh, the psychic who sees dead people.

  it reminded me a little of "the sixth sense", especially when he was a little boy.. did anyone else see it?

  That's amazing mom. I totally believe that, and I had no idea Scott saw her too. The kids just talk about her all the time, I hope she knows, especially since Z has taken to the blanket she made her.

  I loved it. I was asking my husband about the whole Shechem/Dinah rape thing. He had to admit that it didn't make much sense that a rapist would want to marry his victim and be circumcised! Totally changed our thinking in that matter. The part about the family gods was very interesting too. We were always taught that Rachel and Leah were good Hebrew women but I no longer think that was the case. Even though it is fiction, so much of it makes sense and it really has changed my thinking and beliefs about the Jacob/Rachel/Leah story in the bible.
