  i'm glad that jehovah will kill you,yet!.

  there is alot of things that i want to say but you know that jesus said in matt 24:9-11 that you would hate his faithful ones ,but to be honest with you ,we don't hate you ,cause in matt 5;1-9 says that we will be hated,so since we all know that ,than it is a pleasure that you talk about us.and other thing that i want to say is that people in the world thinks that we are crazy ,but if you would read the old testament than you will know that the jews were to serpart themselves from the other nations and that is how jehovah's witness fell about it,see when the jews would be around other nations than they would forget jehovah and they would worship other gods.when they do that ,it would cost them their lives.so it is good that you are talking about us and i would like for you to continue to do so .why?

  i know i've posted about this in the past, but there are so many new people, and sooooo many lurkers i thought i'd bring it up again.

  i went on 2 convetion tours and have to admit we had a wonderful time.

  i also made some really good friends from all over that i haven't been able to keep in touch with.

  she is a jw and has known i am gay and all about the smoking etc etc.

  she said it did not bother her and that i am still her brother!

  God, that is so funny. Last week my grandma put her fingers in her ears so she couldn't hear what we were saying. Same woman broke her back trying to keep my mom from leaving town...didn't work though. Her eyes aren't good enough to read either, good thing she still gets her Watchtower and Awake on cassette. GAG!

  Curling is a sport where I do not understand the appeal. One person hurls the stone down the ice while two more sweep it's path? Hmmmmm...

  In the US I've seen a couple of commercials that are half-mocking curling. I was surprised to find out the US has a team, but not at all shocked to find out they suck.

  These last few weeks.

  i haven't posted more than a reply or two to various topics these last few weeks.

  i haven't seen any evidence of my mom (mulan) in as long.. i have started to post the whole story but it is too long and probably unbelievable.

  anyway, here is the short version.. 89 year old grandma fell and broke a vertabrae.

  Hey Sean,

  Turns out they wouldn't release her to your grandma's after all. She is still in the rehab center waiting for her new apartment to be ready for occupancy March 1st. We are wondering how she will be able to care for herself and pay the rent since she has driven away all the family members who have helped her in the recent past.

  Best National Anthem

  okay, let's do a poll.. since it looks like many of us are watching the olympics, let's vote on which country has the best national anthem.. i love canada's.

  i find myself hoping a canadian will win, so i can sing along to their song.. when the russians win, i get a cold disquieting feeling, since they adopted the old soviet anthem again.

  too many memories of the old ussr.. marilyn (aka mulan).

  I have to say the US anthem is very moving, but everyone seems to feel pride in their country's anthem.

  Waltzing Matilda is a great song, I'm still not so sure it really was the anthem though. If so, got to love the Aussies for their great sense of humor.

  Remember when they tried so hard to make Louie Louis the state song of Washington?

  Oh LDH, I am so glad I wasn't the only one thinking that! I was afraid someone might be offended at the suggestion.

  I miss Waltzing Matilda too, was it really the anthem though? Is that why the anthem I heard sounded unfamiliar?
