It is very easy to answer what an ideal creation would be biblically speaking. That is a Law abiding creation. The prophets symbolised that with various images of peaceful animals etc. Adam and Eve, whatever they were or represents, lived by the Law until they broke it. We all do until we sin (unlike in the Augustinian view) ๐ฎ

JW.org Focus on the Past - Have Always Wondered?
by JWTom injust curious of others thoughts.....while watching the latest round of convention videos with my pimi wife it was highlighted again in the content how much the wt org.
has always focused on the past (in my opinion).
many of the historical events that are highlighted as significant are from 100+ years ago in some cases.

Hehe I remember that image of the kid and just picked up the unnatural settings. Kids naturally do not try to sell you an apple. Something was wrong with his gesture

I agree with Slim that the video is very good ๐. They were probably stronger back then. You almost feel it is fun and exciting to be JW ๐

Well from what is ideal and godly of course. Very clear from the media. They have forsaken thy Law ๐ค -

The toxic JW Worldview

JW attitude to politics is very problematic. Christians should be involved in politics, in these ages we need to join the fight against political islam, multiculturalism and globalist extremist agendas that hate us. Christians should also learn use of guns and join the army. Of course we can come into situations where we must refuse to obey, but basically we are to love our neighbor which means to take a loving responsibility in governing affairs. That is part of our ruling with Christ (Revelation 20:4). -

Creation is fallen and mankind sinful. How and when in a literal sense is another story. The ground is cursed for thy sake Indeed๐ค

Of course it is all preordained to teach the proud a lesson, especially Cuffie (Romans 11).

I think God conforms to the level of his people. But Israel of old was also an experiment and sort of representation of all mankind showing that it was needed for God himself to provide a sacrifice for reconciliation ๐

Parker,
A curious blend of conservatism and liberalism that is me โบ๏ธ. I would not include my understanding of Adam and Eve in the liberal. I question that a strong literalism is the intended meaning ๐ค
I think God spoke to Israel in different ways. When they were a nation of warriors, God spoke to them as such. When they were subject to the world's superpower in a different way

Parker,
I dont know what progressive Christian means. I just recognise a lot in the Bible is not literal. Just look at the old testament prophets. Also the Bible reader should try to understand time and culture of the stuff written. Audience relevance.
Slimboyfat,
I think you can say genocide was the ancient norm. It was about making desirable lebensraum for the winners in the evolutionary struggle. Christianity came along and promoted unseen ethics. But not without constant opposition from the devil (s). Now we live in an exciting time where cultural marxism and totallitarianism is strangulating Europe and a small opposition is rising up. Will the things Christianity build up survive or will mankind go back to the wolf pack life style
