  Never did it. Not even one time. I learned from my dad that nobody...NOBODY has the right to dictate to you. My folks ALWAYS picked a good hotel on their own. If it was on their "Approved List" fine, but many times it was not on the list...LOL... I carried this philosophy with me into my adult life.

  Fundementalist implies that they have their beliefs rooted in some valid teaching or set of values and they stick to the basics of that teaching. Following the teachings of the wt does not qualify. IMHO anyways...

  My Wierd memorial story 2012...I was going to "swig it."

  witnesses came around with invites we had not been to meetings.....since last memorial.

  wife wanted me to go, "but your taking me to dinner and drinks afterwards ok..." i went.

  suit came out of moth balls, alittle snug, need to go to the gym?

  A new member of the thinking class

  this is my first post on this forum, though it feels like i already know some of you here.

  i have been lurking for a couple of months now, and i must say, there honestly seems to be more love and respect here than any forum i have ever seen on any forum of any kind.

  i am 25 years old, married 3 years to my wonderful wife who is 22. we had a somewhat classic jw upbringing... which i now know has been our biggest problem.

  60% of americans in one servey think the government did it.....even though there is no sold evidence.

  let me spell it out.....a huge airplane full of fuel hit the building plowing thru the steel supports, thousands of witnesses, and video fotage, it almost flew through the building with debris blowing out the other side.

  although it appears in the footage there is alot of smoke but no fire, right?

  I apologized to an ex girlfriend like 6 years after the last time we spoke. That last time we spoke she told me that if I ever saw her face again it would already be too late because I would be dead right after. She was nearly right. I found her place and her husband opened the door. He called her and she sent him and their houseguests after me. In the insuing beating I managed to mess up her husband's back and I was nearly beaten to death. I never took her at her word. DUMBASS...

  it saddens me to inform you that ruth edwards has passed.

  ruth was a long time member of the menlo park congregation.

  when the letter was read that indicated that john cobb, jason cobb, walter st. clair, and george stock had been removed from their post as elders, ruth fainted and needed to be taken to the hospital.
