They are GOG’S CROWD.
Hold on, is this new light? Is the watchtower now saying that Gog of Magog is not in fact the governments of the world? So now Gog of Magog, are a group of people who reside on jw.com?
there are many on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists; that he is not a real being.
but, he is as real as next breath you draw into your nostrils.. some of you say that there is no evidence that he exists.
yet, none of you can prove that he does not exits.. cofty, (you come to mind), i appreciate that you have stated, without reservation, that you do not believe that god exists.. yet, you cannot prove it.. hope in jehovah..

i am presently considering three different routes to publishing crisis of conscience.
i hope to make a decision within days and plan to publish within weeks.. it has now been 50 weeks since that statement.. has the book been published yet?
I do love the thumbs down. Please keep it up, if it makes one feel better in themselves, who am I to disagree.
when we were practising witnesses we heard a lot about the need to be "sheeplike" , having a sheeplike attitude and personality .
a typical comment might be :.
"lasting peace & happiness just ahead" 2009 p 30.
Sheep do the bidding of whoever/whatever are guiding them. Watch how a sheep dog rounds the sheep up, one sheep follows the next, and the next, and so on.
Watchtower uses this analogy on the unwitting JW as a "good quality" to have. Even the average JW are called "other sheep," In reality, this is actually downgrading one as a independently thinking human being to a watchtower drone, who will do the bidding of this high control cult.
Simply put, using the name sheep displays just what this cult think of their followers. Expendable!

Are we going to resurrect this issue of whether or not CoC should be published? Yes it may help others. However, judging the contentions this issue created the last time, are we willing to let sleeping dogs lie? Come on people, we left this cult, stop opening old wounds and let us move on.
Besides, a quick hover over at Amazon will reveal many more great books on this cult.

The Scientologists have a group of people that solely use the internet to peddle their crap. They will try and defend the movement. The evidence is now mounting up that makes me believe that watchtower are now using bethel employees to seek out forums such as this. They are also flooding YouTube too...And don't even get me started on Yahoo Answers.

God hears all out prayers...Then the OP uses the statement "think before you write" If god can hear our prayers, then surely he can hear us think too? If so, would he not somehow, in his divine, all powerful presence stop one from actually writing?
I think the OP needs to think before he/she writes, lest he/she does not come across as being another watchtower drone, who does not have the ability of critical thinking.
reports are coming from witnesses that, once again, the number of memorial partakers has risen considerably this past year, 2016. while confirmation is still to come on the exact numbers, the current explanations given for this increase surely causes a dilemma.. imagine the roman catholic church publishing each year the number of members who it felt were mistaken about what they believed in, that this same number of members was likely suffering from problems such as pride or even mental disorders or something along this line.
this number, by the way, was in the thousands too and growing annually.
what would you conclude, therefore about the catholic church and its admission?.
I should have added - what no man is able to number.

How long before they cherry pick a new scripture and use it to portray this influx of new anointed members in this time of the end, whether as legitimate or not?
How about this one. By looking at this scripture we can evidently conclude that the great crowd are the increasing number of "anointed" ones.
so sunday afternoon tea with my "anionted" mum and her old witness holy friends.
they start talking trump how he "is gonna do somthing to start armegedon.
" no sad faces about this apocalipse.
This also was said of Obama...Now he nears the end of his time in office and the world still turns. Still not seen any balls of flaming sulphur hurtling from the heavens.
Same old same old.
with recent events pointing at watchtower growth, i felt compelled to say a few words.. if the figures turn out to be true, then we should not be discouraged.
after 9/11 there was a surge in, not only the watchtower, but other demonisation of organised religion.
whenever there is a a paradigm shifting event that puts fear into others, this tends to have a life changing affect on an individual.. now let us zoom to the present.

Now let us zoom to the present. Over the last year, we have seen events that have shook the very foundations of many people. People are genuinely scared of what the future holds. Whether it is Brexit, or Trump winning the election race, these two events have deeply divided others. The divisions run so deep that there have been members of the same family fall out. We have seen it here too. Some think Trump will start WW3, think how terrifying this would be to those who think this way. There is demonstrations and riots currently taking place.
For many people, the future is bleak and terrifying. When individuals feel this way, they go into survival mode. This is where organised religion plays it's part. The Watchtower have always exploited events to suite there own egenda. In desperation individuals fall for this. The watchtower preys on others who are feeling utterly hopeless.
Vulnerability is a target for vultures like the watchtower!
The growth will have absolutely nothing to do with individuals believing they have found "the truth," it has more to do with the hope for a utopian future, something we all crave. I mean, who wouldn't want to live in a world free from crime, corruption, pollution, Ill health and many more. The very reason shows like Star Trek are so popular is because of a vision of a more hopeful future.
As human beings, we need hope, otherwise without the sense of hope, we feel our lives are worthless.
In the current world cycle, there is a huge amount of uncertainty, however, this is only a cycle, eventually things will get better. When things do get better, you can bet your bottom dollar that organized religion will be hemorraging members once again. It's all a cycle.
So never get discouraged, don't give the watchtower vultures what they want. They prey on negative energy. don't give them the satisfaction.
