  I'm not going to attempt to argue what books of the Jews were "inspired" or not. What I will suggest is recognizing that books like Tobit and Baruch and Psalms of Solomon were widely distributed and regarded as equal to books such as Daniel. As such they contribute much to understanding idiom and religious development. Ignoring the majority of written evidence will surely lead to erroneous conclusions.

  He will afflict you for your iniquities,
