Happy St.Patricks Day!!! Sat 15th March 2008
by digderidoo inst.patricks day this year has been changed to today 15th march by the catholic church so that it does'nt coincide with holy monday (17th march for 2008).
although i dont think many will take heed of this change.. www.channel4.com/news/articles/world/st+patricks+day+to+be+moved+in+2008/608847 - 35k.
bit mad as st. patricks day is generally held on the 17th, but as this is the case happy st.patricks day and careful on the guiness.. paul.

My brother thinks like a pharisee!
by tsar_robles inearlier today i called my aging father to check on him; he asked me if my brother has met my newborn yet.
i told him 'well, no... i invited him to come over to meet his nephew whenever he'd like but never responded'.. then my dad asked me to let him know he'll be writing to him soon.
i briefly talked to my brother and relayed the message.

What do we understand is (or was) a Pharisee?
What was so wrong with their beliefs?
Would you have preferred the beliefs of the Sadducees?
I suspect we use terms as belittling labels without fully understanding the labels we attach.

Sometimes it is a GB member other times branch overseers or ones appointed from Brooklyn have the "privilege".
They're junkets handed out to reward loyal (subservient) service to the empire ("Organisatiion™).
Lesser flunkies get lower value junkets i.e. SAD visits as "Bethel representative"
