Actaully the black demographic had a 5% increase. Of course, I wonder how many of those are immigrants as well. -

Here is the raw data.
They do have education reported from 2014, but not 2007.

This is a change from 7 years ago.
In 2007, it was 48% white, 22% black, and 24% Latino. There has been quite a demographic shift.

Getting the Urge!
by Theburstbubble inevening folks, so as some of you may know we have recently decided to leave the witnesses and can see it for the man made organisation it is.
so, why do i get the urge to go back and feel guilty for not being there!
it's like my mind is telling me to be logical about it all but then something keeps pulling me back.. don't get me wrong i really want to break free from it all and i'm resisting the urge to go back as i have been miserable in the truth for a long time as i've known it's not right and want to do the best by my daughter.

Counting the money in this year's Regional Convention
by suavojr ini was asked if i knew of any jdubs within my congregation that could help out counting the money for this years regional convention, imitate christ.
so i gave a few names and included my wife, i was hoping for her to wake up and see how the org is all about the money in the back room.
do you think it woke her up a bit?

If JWs only knew "apostates" were counting their donation money and handling it honestly. LOL!

How many here believed, down deep in your heart that the end would come in 1975?
by James Mixon ini was straddling the fence on that one, just in case they were right.
i don't recall.
telling anyone this is your last chance.

I was only 3 in 1975. I wish I had a conscious memory of that time, it might’ve come in handy later. All I heard was the Society never said 1975…just some people interpreted that way. If I only knew!

What went wrong in your congregation?
by The Rebel inthe target is converts.. why does it seem such an outrageous aim for a congregation to recruit new converts?.
in my old congregation, the enthusiasm was there but the knocking on doors produced zero " baptisms" in my final years.. a) why so little interests?.
b) was it the internet ?.

I remember in the mid-90's, all the railing against the internet. As a JW, I wondered why. It made no sense to me.
Now it does.
