think our issue isn't with minors getting baptized, but rather how Jehovah's Witnesses treat baptism. Baptism is supposedly an outward display of accepting the God of the Bible, His Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. Just like a wedding is nothing more than a ceremony that two people who decided to be exclusive with one another go through to publicly let everyone known "Hey, we're an item. We are no longer available for romantic relationships."
The problem is baptism in the Jehovah's Witness religion is an outward display or statement that means the individual is officially a part of that religious organization. It is not about accepting God or Jesus as your savior. I could have been baptized as a Presbyterian and then later in life become a Methodist. I wouldn't be shunned by my Presbyterian family and friends. I could even stop going to church all together and there would be no problem.
