  What about pubic hair?

  Shaving of pubic hair will only be enforced after the Governing Body decides everyone has been made perfect and gives the OK to walk around naked. Until then, it's only a "principal."

  I see from the video that in the New World the brothers still have to keep clean-shaven with 1950's haircuts in order to avoid getting disfellowshipped for looking like all those dead worldly people with headbands that died at Armageddon.

  At least their Kingdom Hall got a new rennovation after Armageddon. It's been remodelled into some sort of open-air coliseum.

  How do you feel about birthdays and Christmas now?

  i wonder...for those of you who were brought up as a jw or who have been "in" for many years, how do you feel about birthdays and christmas and celebrations in general now?.

  the indoctrination/brainwashing is very strong.

  once you are out, or, perhaps, still in but totally disillusioned and sure that it is all a lie, not the truth, do you find that you are determined to celebrate like mad to make up for what you missed, or do you find you have a lingering sense of guilt, however irrational you may now think it is?.

  I was born-in but was never convinced that birthdays were wrong. I never saw the difference in celebrating the anniversary of events such as weddings and the anniversary of one's birth.

  Birthdays are not a religious celebration, but Christmas is. So in my opinion, it should come down to your own religious beliefs when it comes to celebrating Christmas.

  I think the Witnesses are right about the obvious pagan origins of Christmas and its traditions. So if you still believe in Jesus, you might or might not have some concern about the pagan traditions of Christmas. Or if you don't believe in Jesus, then why are you even celebrating his birthday in the first place?

  But even though I saw and believed that the origins of Christmas were pagan while I was still living under my Witness parents' roof, I still believed it should be a concience matter rather than a disfellowshipping matter as to whether each person chose to celebrate it. After all, the bible says this right from the Witnesses own NWT:

  " Welcome the [man] having weaknesses in [his] faith, but not to make decisions on inward questionings. One [man] has faith to eat everything, but the [man] who is weak eats vegetables. Let the one eating not look down on the one not eating, and let the one not eating not judge the one eating, for God has welcomed that one. Who are you to judge the house servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for Jehovah can make him stand.

  One [man] judges one day as above another; another [man] judges one day as all others; let each [man] be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day observes it to Jehovah. Also, he who eats, eats to Jehovah, for he gives thanks to God; and he who does not eat does not eat to Jehovah, and yet gives thanks to God." (Romans 14:1-6)

  Have The Governing Body Rebelled Against The "Anointed Of Jehovah"? (Questions For Those Still In)

  it has been the understanding for decades that jehovah was using the group of anointed on earth to provide for his sheep.

  they even changed the baptism questions to indicate acceptance of this arrangement.

  many have been disfellowshipped (aka spiritually executed) for failing to fully support this arrangement.

  It's no longer possible to show loyalty to both the Governing Body and the anointed on Earth. It can only be one or the other or neither. Doing nothing is the same as accepting the Governing Body and rejecting the direction of the anointed remnant.

  What about showing loyalty to God instead of men?

  "It is better to take refuge in Jehovah Than to trust in earthling man." (Psalm 118:8)

  someone keeps posting on here from anointedjw.org.. now as many know it is a long time since i left so i am really baffled.. i have picked up that many more are saying they are of the anointed than when i was in even though the number is supposed to be going down!.

  so how are these people who suddenly start taking the emblems viewed by the gb?.

  are they newly baptised people generally or born-ins?.

  i don't want to deceive anyone and i have to clarify a few things so i'm sorry this is going to be a lot more vague then you want.

  Or maybe you are God. You just don't remember because when you chose to take human form, you also chose to make yourself forget who you are. Maybe you split yourself into billions of different personalities and have been everyone who has ever lived and will be everyone who will ever be born. This is possible because since you are God, you are not confined by time but only choose to impose time on yourself with each new flesh you are born into.

  The world is your playground.
