Did anyone trace this fine story down with some facts? Or was this, just another 'hit and run' 'fly by night' 'boiler room' news story? Waiting for some facts on this story, I would hate to think there are deceptive people on the Net, with impure motives.

Comments from a real JW about the killing of apostates watchtower. You will be shocked..
by Hairyhegoat inthis is a very good find from another jw only web site i have access to... hey i just found this on a link of my mom's that she is "friends" with, yes, still a jw...anyway, i had to copy/paste it so you could all see, thought it was a bit hilarious to see how they blatantly speak of keeping info from "outsiders.
" i did not copy the name of the person since that is not my point and i am not that disrespectful, but i did copy their comment...they were discussing the wt about killing all apostates and someone that was studying asked a question as to whether they all thought that was right or not, so here it is..............."james... although its a great article and very encouraging, as apostates do deserve to be murdered, it may not be such a good idea to reveal it our friend zeek at this moment.
he may find it a tad over the top.

More BS that will downplay any good affects this site can bring about. This sounds like Late Night David Icke trash where he see's JWs turning into grey reptillian nephilim before his tender eyes. Using his psychic energy and transforming into the Christ, David Icke chases them back into their mortal body. He (David Icke) is one of Britians most wildest whack jobs on the net and anti-JW. I have never seen or heard the above mentioned dialogue, not even while visiting witnesses in the psychiatric ward in maxium security state hospital.

Do the Governing Body members ever go Door-to-Door?
by 00DAD inin his book, in search of christian freedom, ray franz wrote that that gb members for the most part never participated in door-to-door work.
they were "too busy with more important things.
" (gee, how come that excuse wouldn't work for the rest of us?

If would break the hearts of the millions who actually go and preach from house to house. Those who do business territory, write letters, hunt down any who will listen. The scipture you posted in Matthew should shock any who would "Beg off from going out in the field". If Jesus Christ, the Twelve Apostles and the Seventy disciples had time to preach, so do all those who claim to be his brothers. If they don't go out in the field, like they want us to do, they are not his brothers. I have not found any exceptions in the New Testament, that say "Jesus future heads of the congregation would be exempt of obeying the Master." I now am getting the gist of why so many are mad at the duplicity. Remember I am new to this website and have barely cracked this internet library book open. What else will I find, I don't know but it is opening my mind up. I don't like those who don't play by their own rules!

How many times have you heard the term "Platform Elder"? He is the man who gives a ok, to great talk to the sheep. He is not there when you need that spiritual encouragement, he is never found out in the field service and his time is magically above ten hours each month. He sends out the drones into the field, while he goes wine tasting. True story or sorta, I have to change one thing about this real story. The Big Bad CO came to town, Platform Elder shows up to the field service arrangements with us drones ( I was a teenager at the time.) and received the wonderful "Go Get Em Boys and Girls, the Field is ripe!". I had to come back to the Kingdom Hall to pick up more magazines, and platform elder had changed from his suit to his wine tasting clothes. I asked him if he was going out in the ministry, he said "I might place a tract at the local winery or I might not." He told the CO he had plans to work with his car group. His car group went wine tasting while we went out preaching. I hate Platform Elders and Hippocrites!

Until we get a news source, I will be a doubting Thomas. I think Mark Twain wrote "A lie can travel half-way around the world, before the truth can put its overalls and boots on, to chase after it. " There is nothing in the newswires or LN data bank. Don't take my harsh skeptical nature to strong, I like news links and news sources and don't count Facebook as a reliable newsource.

Dr. Bart Erhman complains the whole Christian Greek sciptures have been subject to "hundreds of thousands of errors, misqoutes, scribal laziness, ect....." to many additions and subtractions to the New Testament. . I remember where Bart Erhman's teacher, when he was 94 years old, one of the greatest textual critics, if not the best ever, said "He had more faith in the reliability of the what Jesus said, than when he first started." I belive God would have the ability to get his message, one way or another. If you want to read a book by a former (deceased) Dead Sea Scrolls translator and naysayer, (Some scholars use those nasty ad hom., saying he was the weakest link of the D.S. team.) he had no conviction in the writings. He was concerned with the Essenes and their magic mushroom addiction, which provided the followers with some great visions. Old John Marcos Allegros book might be worth a glance, if that is your bag baby!

Smiling Depression
by George inshe was such a nice sister.
i was particularly impressed by the way she read from the psalms.
her strong emotional attachment to god was obvious by the inflection in her voice when she read.

Hi George, I think the elders in my neck of the woods have been receiving bulk prices for "Sharpies" the black and red markers. You can 'mark' someone for almost anything that displeases those who have decided to sit on the seat of Moses. In Jesus day, some historians say, There was an actual stone seat, the religious leaders would climb up on, and sit high above the am-ah-har-ats and judge them. Do you think the Pharisees were quick to 'mark' those who were considered weak? I was under the impression Jesus came to help those loaded down with religious burdens. He came to heal the spirtually sick and not to reinforce the glorious name of those self-professed spirtually strong men and women, who judge each other by their outward works. Just my thoughts on this matter.

What Was Nathan Knorr Like Compared To The Other Presidents?
by AvocadoJake inbrother knorr is rarely mentioned in the awake or watchtower and i don't really know much about him.
is there a reason why brother knorr does not receive as much mention as brother russell, rutherford or even frantz?
can you help me understand why he was like?
-
AvocadoJake
Thank you for all the postings about Brother Knorr! By the response and by the lack of his name being mentioned by the WatchTower and Awake, it makes sense, he was not loved the way Russell and Rutherford were. Most of the old timers, never mention a thing about Brother Knorr nor his expansionist agenda. "Without Love, we are all nothing but a clashing noise!" my paraphrase of Apostle Pauls words. Thank you again for taking the time, I am not the only one who wonders about him.

I am too new to remember who he is and what he did for the Organization. As always, thank you for taking the time to respond with your insights!
