Emily at the Beach

she's my latest grand daughter.

Beautiful child, but what a shame that her Grandfather don't know what to tell her about God ...

whats even more of a shame is that emily could expect to
inherit that freaky hair growth seen in the lower
right corner of that pic.

Anybody else had visions?

when i was separating from my wife and leaving the jws, i had some visions.

for some strange reason, i decided not to eat for a day, then when i found my thinking clearer and my emotions mellower, i fasted for another two days.

so after the third day, i was walking down our street and i saw the houses burning after me, i felt this was an affirmation that marriage was decay and destruction, or wasteage.

All that waisted Time!

i can't tell you how many times while out in service i would have these disturbing feelings:"this is such a waist of time.

""we are just driving our life away from nh to nh!

" and"i'm acompolishing absolutly nothing!

ha ha..you apostates show your ignorance once again. all
you need to do is take a trip to the governemnt
offices of a global leader in science, the arts, health etc.
and you will see how well deserved the praise is........

so who wants to take a trip with me to the Congo

Disfellowshiping and shunning

the problem is not the disfellowshipping itself but the shunning most of us don't accept.

i'm not so much against the disfellowshipping but shunning because it doesn't help anybody to repent some possible gross sin.

the situation is still more worse if you disagree with one or more of the wts teachings.

I am a recovering alcoholic who has been sober for 5 years now. I have been a member of AA for all of those 5 years and we practice tough love but I gotta tell you, it's much more loving than the witness policy of shunning

Right now I am on creatine but havent seen an increase in my bench
for awhile.

The branch coordinator wept during his convention

the local branch office coordinator, mr. kankaanpaa, delivered the final speech in the summer convention held in tampere, the third largest city here in finland, and demanded all the ex-jw's to return back to the org.

suddenly he began to weep.

when he got his emotions under control, he instantly returned to the tradiotional wt phraseology: threats, intimitation and almost name calling (you know, that apostate stuff).

usually when someone weeps onstage for no apparent reason it is the result of hiding a secret or past sin.....hmmmm

what do you consider to be the most stupid rules or tradition of the jw lives?

im thinking about any kind of rule or regulative that only has one answer to the questions why:.

i think you mean suggestions and not rules.....congergations shouldnt really have rules
I have never worn a name badge and, and have never been veiwed as
a "bad guy".......maybe its something else for you?

Bethel on the other hand has rules a plenty....
