  i checked many many posts, and at the end of each one,,even if they were not on a 'religious' topic, the bottom of the page has an add for 'scientology'.

  Oh my, just found out, my grandson, is autistic, daughter has cancer...

  ok, like there is not enough going on in my life now,,,with my shop windows being smashed out 4 times in the last month and i have to pay for them.

  son, who i found out at xmas, finally called after 18 months, is bipolar,,that his son, of 3 is very autistic, cant even talk,,and my daughter,,the career driven successful better than anyone (hhmm) fell on a cruise ship and found out she has cancer in hip,,,had it in knee as a 12 year old.

  ok now.......when do i get to have a meltdown.

  when i was searching for religion, post witness life, i spent a few months studying mormon faith.

  while i found it interesting, i also found it comical in their believes.

  yet until i found this cartoon on youtube, it was hard to explain how mormons see the origin of man without cracking up.

  i spent about half an hour,,, going from one utube to another,,i am absolutely shocked,,i did not realized mormons believe as they do

  how can they, with a reasoning mind, believe that,,,,,at least the jw's had a bible to make distortions from

  i loved the utubes of the australian fellow purchasing the secret underwear, from now on i have no repect for a mormon at all

  OH MY thank you all so much, you have no idea

  i went into work today,,and again my windows were smashed,,time to get out of there,,,police finally are taking it seriously,,,could be x,,,i moved out on my own 5-6 months ago:(

  and i have to pay,,today may be $800,,,makes it 5 times now

  as for my children,,my children were not allowed to speak with me when i got df'd,,,about 10 yrs ago,,damage done, but slowly, we seem to be trying,,,as for my daughter,,i would be the last person she would call, she seems hell bent on being so strong,,driven almost

  i couldnt write this stuff,,i am printing out this thread and i will keep it close to me,,,thank you all again,,wow, how messed up can our families get,,,the dysfunction, the misplacing of love,,,the fears,,etc, that , yes, some of us created in our children about armageddon, etc

  i have to admit, i've been kinda watching this nervously.

  it's too close to a slippery slope to just come in and take kids from a religion en masse, but at the same time, forcing underage girls into marriages is sick sick sick.. .

  many of you have very good points,,

  i must say, though, for me, it has brought back a bit of anxiety, the secrecy,,,the double talk.....god's laws to supercede caesars laws....etc

  being a mother and being in the mind frame of denying my child blood due to god's laws,,,,well all of this just bothers me,,,
