epica- european project for ice coring in antarctica.. kind of old news but fascinating.
over the last 10 years or so, this organisation has analysed ice core samples taken from antarctica.
drilling more than 3000 metres into the permafrost, they produced the longest, continuous record of earths climate extending back almost 800 000 years.

so mrs. otwo and i see something on television about cuban cigars.
she asks me if they are allowed into the united states.
i told her that i believe there is a softening of the rules, but they are still difficult to get.

Got my answer. Well, no, I got a reply but they didn't answer my question.
Cliffs Notes: Jesus says the flood was global, Jehovah left just enough info out of the bible so that "one who wants to find an excuse for not believing can find it," and Satan is trying to deceive you with "an avalanche of lies."
The real hilarity is in the article they appended. It says word for word: "Religious exhortations to the effect that you should just believe and should doubt nothing are dangerous and deceptive."
Sorry what?
Anyway, here is the actual reply:

Jukief, your husband is Alan Feurbacher? He was one of the first sources I started reading when I was waking up a decade ago.
Tell him thanks!

Haha, like I said I don't care who knows at this point. I've made my peace that I'm no longer a part of the organization. If they want to be petty and make it all official then so be it.
As for Introvert 2's suggestion about the hydroplate theory, did you even read my letter? There's absolutely no trace of a global flood in the ice core record, among a myriad of other lines of evidence against the flood. Trying to prove the flood from a scientific point of view is impossible.

A local flood in 2300 BC makes no sense archaeologically because the Egyptians were well into the fourth dynasty and there's no mention of such a catastrophe in the region. For reference, the great pyramid of Khufu was built 200 years before the flood was supposed to have taken place.

Again, I phrased it for the benefit of my still-in dad.
I was trying to come off as non-confrontational as possible.
