I have a family member in Africa who has showed photos of an RTO there. It was just an ordinary house, three people sitting at tables working at computers, that's it. I understand why it would be better there, but a similar setup in Florida makes less sense. Maybe if the translators were not on the 'payroll', receiving a stipend or medical insurance, it would save the WT money.

Remote Translation Offices (RTO) of Jehovah's Witnesses
by Brokeback Watchtower inwhat do you think about these things.
it seems like a monumental waste of time and money, a pipe dream of the governing body based on wishful thinking.
this corporation is going down the tubes with these asshole deluded genius's calling the financial investment shot.. buying chemical dump property around the world to build their financial empire headquarters on while facing massive child molestation lawsuits now and many more in the future means it looking kind of bleak for these messed idiots running things.. http://jw-branchoffices.blogspot.com/p/watchtower-remote-translation-offices.html.

This was the assembly hall, I believe. The London Ohio assembly hall was also put up for sale at the same time, with plans for a southwest Ohio hall in Cincinati area. The project was taken off the table, but with this sale I wonder what will happen.

Incredible cover of book published in 1932
by Truthexplorer inok, i am reading through the book the watchtower and the masons by fritz spring meier which i am finding a fascinating read; and discovered that judge rutherford published the book 'cause of death'.
what is incredible is the book cover.
the book was published in 1932 which would have been a little bit more eye catching back then.

Thanks, I just scanned through it. What an awful religion this was. It is now too, but in a different way.

I'm a little surprised no one has commented on the phallic image in the background

New study - JWs by far the least educated religious group in Canada, Australia and New Zealand
by slimboyfat inthe religion of the educated classes revisited: new religions, the nonreligious, and educational levels - james r. lewis .
the measure lewis uses to compare religious groups is what percentage of members of the respective religions have graduated from college.
the findings are similar to the results of the pew survey in the united states.

Surely there are more religious denominations than the 25 shown in this list. Maybe the last one 'No Religion' is a catch all that includes others not listed. Even so, it is clear that JWs are the least educated, not counting their reading of the Awake magazine!

I have a family member in a non-US branch bethel, who came back to the US for vacation and received health coverage from the WT 'Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses' for the month they were here.
