Thanks ISP.
I stand corrected.
There are so many diferent ways they can claim that a JW disasociated themselves.
When in reality, the elders are the ones that that make that distinction in many cases.

Hi reallylost,
' DA' is when a person voluntarilly Disasociates themselves from the WTS whether it be by letter or verbally.
'DF' is when a person gets booted out of the WTS for breaking one of their rules.
A disfellowshipped person can get back into the WTS by going to all the meetings and groveling to the elders showing how repentant they are for breaking the rules.
Usually the DFed person will not be spoken to or acknowledged as a living human being by JWs for anywhere from 6months to 1 yr.

My Disfellowshipped Window Washer Is Going Back To Meetings Because Of The
by minimus inwar....he said bible prophecies are obviously being fulfilled and since war is imminent, it's time to get back into the "truth".
he went to his first meeting last sunday.
now, all he says he has to do is stop smoking, stop his pornography addiction, stop going out with prostitutes, start reading and researching more, and evidently, he has stopped engaging in homosexuality.

Why, oh why, oh why do some, that know the WTS to be a fraud, decide to go back to that fraud when they think the sky is about to fall?
Is it because the only thing the WTS ever preached about was the end of this system of things?
And they claim that the only way God might, just may, there's a very slight chance that He will not totaly anihilate, obliterate, and make the person have one heck of a bad day, is to be at WTS meetings, be out in FS declairing to the public that God will destroy you if you don't become a JW?
Do these people (no offense intended) think God is so stupid that He will use a group that has lied in His name, protected pedophiles in His name, condemned inocent people in His name, made false predictions in His name, has caused some to loose their lives needlessly and have suffered needlessly in His name?
There are a lot of 'END TIMES' cults around.
Shall we just close our eyes and pick one to belong to because the 'END' might be here?
That is exactly what those that go back to the WTS are doing!
They have proven beyond a doubt that they are false prophets.
Btw. What do the scriptures say about false prophets?

Did you leave the Borg 'in search of truth' or 'freedom from rules'?
by BLISSISIGNORANCE inthis question is not to offend anyone, it's just that i have noticed people have many different reasons for leaving the borg and i thought it would be interesting to find out why some of you left.. for example:some leave because they want to be free to smoke, drink, gamble, fornicate, grow beards, celebrate xmas, take blood and drugs, etc.some leave because they never believed and now are old enough to do as they want.some leave because they have seen that they can be happy living life free from any religious organization, yet still feel safe in god's love.some have been hurt by the borg and have taken their wounds away to lick them, waiting to see justice.some have trusted the borg with their lives, time and money...........only to discover recently that there has been lies, cover-ups and hypocracy in the borg.
now they have left but need to belong to another organization to feel happy.. i left the borg because i found out about the cover-ups and lies.
my family was abused by it, my child was sexually abused and i was df'ed.

I left because I found the WTS to be a man run and man made orginization that made a LOT of mistakes and yet claimed that God was using them and noone but them with NO truth to back up that claim.
The teachings that have had to be changed, the dates that the WTS had set that proved to be false, the fact that people have died due to some of the WTS teachings only to have those teachings changed.
So that those people died for NOTHING.
The un-Christian way they treat their fellow man, The fact that the works that a JW must perform to maybe, posibly, there's a slight chance to earn points with God has NOTHING to do with the teachings of Jesus.
Meetings, selling, placing, distributing WORTHLESS magazines is the JW idea of trying to earn points with God.
They don't believe in the teaching of the Good Samaritan or that they should feed the hungry, cloth the clothless, take care of the poor.
Their total structure, what they stand for almost goes against what Jesus stood for and taught.
I don't believe the WTS should be listed under Christianity because they do not seem to worship Christ.

What Would A Jehovah's Witness Romance Novel Be Like?
by minimus ini was reading in the religion page of the newspaper today that the mormons are enjoying romance novels in which descriptions of the characters' sex lives are limited to little more the first kiss--- that could happen after they are engaged to be married........any ideas of what a jw romance novel might be like?

A true JW romance can only be between the JW and the WTS. And it would be a true love because the JW would forsake all else for the love of their life. The WTS. THey would forsake family, common sense, real truth about their love. The WTS. Oh yes. A real love story. neyank
