Why should I be concerned what their intellegence quotient is? Is that what determines what type of person they are?

rem, no I am not saying that there is any connection between low IQ's and common sense. I am not impressed with IQ tests. Sure there are people with low IQ's that also lack common sense, but there are also people with high IQ's that also lack common sense. I prefer good judgement in dealing with life. A high IQ does not mean that you have good judgement. Common sense gives you good judgement.

larc, I do know some people who do score high in IQ tests but they don't have common sense. They can't deal with daily issues. I have heard some pretty stupid comments from them because they didn't think things through before opening their mouth. They don't impress me. My reply was not a generalization of people with high IQ's, it was a statement of my preference. I would rather deal with someone who has common sense especially in dealing with daily life. Common sense uncommon? You must hang around a with a different crowd of people then I do.

I bought myself flowers today
by wasasister infriday fluff after a rather heated exchange on another thread...time to lighten up a bit.. i work hard for my money (as the song goes) and don't have much left over after a mortgage payment, car & insurance payments, and utilities.
i'm lucky to have no real debt; i keep my life simple and i learned to be frugal while living with a compulsive spender.. my one luxury allowance - fresh flowers.
when summer is over, and i can no longer pick a bouquet of assorted roses from my garden, i indulge myself in a few fresh flowers.

Welcome Torn!
I found more then just the WTS chronology to be a problem, but I can respect your right to believe in what you do. In light of what I have seen regarding the WTS I can't believe that they are God's chosen organization. I personally can't see changes coming within their circle that will make any difference to me. I am glad you joined this board and look forward to your posts.

((((((Snoozy))))) I am so very sorry to hear what you and your husband are going through. Your memories that you too have made together are so sweet and special. You are a lucky lady and he is lucky to have you too.
