  i posted, what i thought, was a very cute thread about going to the myrtle beach apostofest with smilie pics and all.

  it was way too much trouble to duplicate again and it appears that the page won't appear.

  I just got laid off

  i got laid off tuesday, the 29th, ten minutes before midnite, right before i was supposed to go home.

  the nerve of them.

  i am kind of upset, but know times are hard right now.

  I love God, I love my neighbor, in fact I have felt closer to a higher being ever since I have left the JWs.

  This shows you are on the right path in your life. Hard times can happen to anyone in any walk of life. It takes a lot in order to heal ourselves when we have been told that bad things have happened to others because they left a cult. It is a fear tactic, one of many.

  dantheman's soccer woes...and shunning

  been trying to involve myself in some different activities, now that i have some time on my hands, being de-towered and all.

  on sundays i've been playing soccer in an over-30 recreational league in town.. during a game last sunday, i was going after a guy who had the ball.

  he passed it to a guy who was behind me.

  I think it crazy that you would have to work with someone and not be allowed any type of inneraction. It isn't as if you asked her to have lunch with you. Carrying things to an extreme, that's what they are all about. Do your co-workers not notice it?

  LOL too funny Princess, I haven't ever carved a pumpkin, (no one will let me have a sharp knife) That really is a kewl idea. We could revive this next year and have a carving contest.

  Mulan, I think it is ok to agree to disagree on issues. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and if a person can't respect another's opinion they aren't really a friend. You can disagree with me if you want to.
