  You're welcome my friend. On YouTube, click the 'Share' button under the video. The text box entitled 'Link to this video:' will contain the short link -

  http://youtu.be/tRmZ9zH-mYM.

  The short link won't embed as a video when posted on this forum. Also certain browsers won't render it an active link. So what you gotta do is click the little square box entitled 'Long link' to the right of 'Link to this video:' which'll give you http://youtube.com/watch?v=tRmZ9zH-mYM.

  However, the long link as it is won't always embed the video. You will need to delete the 'www.' portion of the link first. If the hyperlink isn't active you can make it active by clicking the hyperlink icon (depicted as a linked chain) in the editing panel at the top of the forum posting box and pasting the link into the relevant box - just make sure the 'www.' is removed.

  Zombie computer games

  so carrot has borrowed some games for his wii from a bloke at work, and one of the games is called ''dead rising''.

  from what i can see you have to kill all the zombies in a shopping centre.... well carrot has got hold of a chainsaw and is slaughtering all the zombies... he is laughing uncontrollably and keeps saying that it's the best game ever!.

  is it me or is this something men should have grown out of when they left puberty??.

  Migraines?

  so, i get a migraine a few times a year.

  i usually take some advil and i'm fine.. but, this past month, i've had about 4 migraines.

  one is coming on right now, and i'm about to take an advil.

  I get them too, though thankfully with much less frequency since taking SSRI's. I'm allergic to ibuprofen/advil so I usually end up taking Paracetamol, Codeine (usually combined with the Codeine in varying strengths as either Co-Codamol, Co-Dydramol or Solpadol) and I use Diclofenac Sodium in place of ibuprofen. I can't take Sumatriptan/Imitrex as I'm on SSRI's.

  In the UK we have this stuff called 4Head which is levomenthol in a stick - drug free and surprisingly effective - which you rub on your temples. I find the cooling sensation helps take the edge off it.

  It's interesting that like IsaacJ22 & talesin I also suffer from insomnia, sinusitis, PTSD and fibromyalgia.

  Whatever you do, don't combine Sumatriptan/Imitrex with SSRI's. A friend of mine was taking Citalopram and used to use his girlfriend's prescribed Sumatriptan if he got a bad headache. He'd then be sick and agitated for several days afterwards. He was lucky he was on a low dose of Citalopram and is a large guy as Serotonin Syndrome can be fatal!

  Shepherding Calls Question

  just a brief question concerning this practice.. my wife is about to get her annual shepherding call.

  frankly, i did not know that this routine practice existed.

  what is the purpose of it?.

  The whole thing normally only takes about 15 minutes.

  I wish ours had! They never seemed to want to leave ours, it would normally take 2 hours (I blame my Mother's double choc chip muffins). I used to get really embarassed when they prayed for us at the end of the visit and wondered if they really cared or were they just going through the motions themselves..?

  Cantleave and Nugget are coming to visit me!

  i met the lovely mummatron 2 weeks ago and had a fab day x. tomorrow, cantleave and nugget are travelling down with their kids and stopping off to say hi for a few hours before continuing through wales!.

  im making a huge lasagne, and have got the beers and vino in.......so excited!.

  will be great putting faces to the name, and im glad that at long last, i seem to be able to step out of my little world and make friends.. have got my smurf hanging outside the door so they know my house............. feels like an early christmas present, happy days!

  while channel surfing the other day, i caught something on tlc called toddlers and tiaras.

  i watched it!

  i was appalled, but at the same time the whole social implication of such a thing fascinated me.
