  this incident in paris makes me feel absolutely furious.

  yes i feel desperately sorry for the victims and their families no one should have to deal with that.

  the thing that makes me feel absolutely incandescent though is the attack on freedom of speech and expression.

  People have a right to beliefs, ideas and opinions.

  People DO NOT have a right to not be offended.

  well today the watchtower conductor makes the statement that "the tv.jw.org web site is proof that we have jehovah's blessing because such an endeavor would have been impossible without his help".

  of course that causes all of the bobbing heads in full agreement.

  i wonder what god blessed cbs, abc, and nbc to get up and going and offer their programming?.

  It's 2014. You can set up an online tv channel  in the time it takes to have a poop. Then you just need monies for equipment. Is that the miracle, the amount of monie$ they have?....... cos the Catholic$ are winning that one!

  there is a tribe in west african called the dogon, their mythology states that their gods came from a dark star that orbits around sirius.

  they claim this star went nova then condensed so that its now super dense.

  they have on their cave walls drawings of jupiter and its 4 moons and saturn with its rings.

  i apologize for this confusion.

  i was at work pulling two doubles and couldn't for some reason type in the text area of the post but only the title and it accidently got posted.

  i am interested in getting advice in regards to becoming an m.d.

  You won't be a different person, but you will be a person who makes a difference, 

  As a nurse you make a huge difference too, so ask yourself what the motivations for becoming a doctor are. The degree is too hard to get through unless you have a real passion for medicine or you are a rare natural academic. 

  I would 100% recommend anyone becoming a doctor, but say goodbye to the next 15 years and be sure to realise it is not just a job, it is all consuming.

  this would suggest to me that there are at least some atheists that do have consistant beliefs.. .

  as an atheist, how could he possibly trust the reason that suggests this to himself?

  i've never seen this discussed here, so thought i'd bring it up:.

  as far as i can figure, jehovah's witnesses no longer teach that black skin is the result of a curse from god.

  instead, they seem to teach that canaan was already dark skinned when his father, ham, brought the curse of servitude upon their family.
