Randy, thank you for posting the story. God, will this never end? Do we have to march on the UN on the 4th of July? Or do we have to have every ex-JW and victim do a "million man (and woman) march" in Wash. DC before the government wakes up and destroys these sub-humans??
Sorry, but I need to ask a question. I see "bttt" often. What does that stand for? Many thanks.

To longhairgal:
You can use brains while you are being "reasoned with" as a Bible study. After you get baptized, you turn Japanese, you leave your shoes at the door. Oh, you also leave your brains at the door. The Truth book invites all people to examine their religion. But that's not allowed AFTER you get wet, only before. Seeing that the old books aren't likely to be in the KH library, and most people don't have the time or interest to do Internet research, they aren't likely to find the WT's sordid past history.
We're allowed to use our brains to accept the WT's logic, but not anyone else's. This is classic cult thinking. "My mind is already made up, don't confuse me with the facts." What a sad way to use such a gift. Our brain is what makes us better than the animals, yet many JW's have IQ's lower than a plant. And for those who don't, they enter what I call the "lobotomy" mode whenever thinking about the WT's latest reasonings and flip-flops. Very sad. That would be bad enough, but the JW's then go out and gloat about how stupid the world is because they don't turn off 99% of their brains when they think about religion.
What is ironic is that JW's make such snotty comments at the door after it's been shut in their faces about how stupid or "close-minded" the householder was, when it's the JW's who are brainwashed. The WT has made thousands of statements that have either not come true or been discarded. I cannot fathom how anyone can still defend this cult as the truth and believe certain WT articles about how the slave has "consistently fed its readers reliable and trustworthy spiritual food" for over one hundred years. Yeah, right. If I had a dollar for every mistake or lie that the WT put out, I could buy that baby yacht I have my eye on down here. Only $250,000. I only need a little bit more for gas. Then I'll cruise the rivers in the USA and give out COC and other material for free.

This verse puts the "two witness rule" to death once and for all. I quote: Deut. 22:25-27.
This clearly states that the man was guilty but the woman was not because "she screamed but no one could hear her". If a child is being abused out of earshot, then no one can hear them scream. And children don't scream all the time but they scream in their hearts and minds. The point was that there was no one to rescue them, so they were NOT to blame.
Notice, please, that there is no "two witness" scenario here. It's her word against his. The same as an abuse victim. Even the law (Caesar) and all psychology professionals recognize that children rarely make up stories about being abused. People have been sentenced to death or life in prison based on the victims testimony. Where does the WT get off insisting that high school graduates know more than people with Doctorate degrees??
If the WT insists on having 2 witnesses, I now ask: How do you answer Deut.?? If you say the Law in no longer in effect, then STOP QUOTING ROM IT WHEN YOU WANT TO MAKE A POINT AND CAN'T FIND A VERSE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT!! You hypocrites!!
I don't give a damn if an angel from Heaven came down and said "two witnesses". Child abuse transcends ANY "rules" you have. It also is more important than the Bible itself. If the Bible never had the verse in Deut. and had one hundred verses requiring 2 witnesses, I still maintain that the child is more important than the Bible. I don't think God wants children raped because people misunderstand the Bible. And if God himself insisted on 2 witnesses and child abuse continued because of it, then God has a problem.

Some elders are/were nice people. But one important point is this. How will that elder act if his back is pushed against the wall? He might think I'm right or that something is unfair. But if I'm on the carpet, will he stand up for me? Even if it costs him his position?
I recently wrote to an elder who did the marriage talk for me 30 years ago. I considered him my "mentor" when I was a MS. In fact, when HE had problems, he came to ME for help, not any of the other elders. He recognized the bond we had. But when I was reproved and my wife left me and I moved to FL (one hour away from where HE now lives), and I asked him to save my family (there was a potential suicide involved), he wrote back (not a phone call even) and told me he grieved for me BUT: I had to go back to the meetings, cease all "apostate contacts on the internet (he doesn't have a computer) and pray for Jehovah's spirit. "Then we'll talk" were his words. I wrote back and said no. There isn't time to "prove" myself, I'm not going to do that anyway, and someone may die because of this. Where is your compassion?? I never heard from him again.
So THAT'S your WT "Christian love" in action. I'm not willing to play by their rules, so if I or a family member dies, that's too bad. When WT rules (NOT BIBLE TEACHINGS, THE TWO ARE NOT!!!!! THE SAME) come before a person killing himself/herself, them we are looking at a CULT. And a "child-raping" cult at that.
Again, you WT lurkers can steam and turn red and curse us as "apostates" all you want to, but you are NOT God's organization. There was a nice link here a month ago about "God's organization" and how he used others who weren't in it, like Job. It also showed that when the Jews displeased God, he had NO organization. So I consider that even if God ever did use the WT (which is highly doubtful), he's certainly NOT using them now because of their conduct. Raping 4 year old babies and lying about it isn't quite what Jesus taught us to do with our lives. The WT is guilty of disobeying "get out of her my people if you do not want to share in her plagues". The GB can play games all they want with corporate structures in order to evade legal responsibility, but it is God that you will answer to, not the IRS.
The WT is a CULT, no better than the Nazis. You have ruined countless families. You have bloodguilt for each and every person who died because of your stupid blood rules, rules on organ transplants, and vaccinations. You will give an eye for an eye for every person who committed suicide because of your shunning policies (and your many flip-flops on those). "Not many of you should become teachers, because you will render a weightier account." Can't you read?? Try a REAL Bible for a change, not one that high school graduates wrote during a wine tasting party.
I may be bitter about your still being in existence, but you destroyed my family, my health and my daughter's future. I will organize all the assets I can to expose you and help destroy you. It may not happen in my lifetime, but we have more money, people, energy, and FACTS than you ever will. Someday the world will see that you are SATAN and will turn on you. If they don't, God will.
Oh, "have a nice day".

To Ithinkisee:
Very good points. Especially about "apostates will try to use LOGIC". God forbid we use logic. Didn't they have a book "Make Sure of All Things"?? What the hell was that for if not logic?? Idiots.
There is no love in the WT as Blondie said. It's politics all the way through. I saw it when they made me a MS and a book study conductor. All the younger brothers were licking my shoes and I HATED it. Sisters quoted elders as if they were apostles. CO's were worshipped and sisters fought to have them over for dinner. I had one sister who was the biggest Pharisee I ever saw. She left a meeting early once to go home and cook the dinner for the CO and his wife. The day after (since I had been a frequent target of her attacks), I took her to task for leaving the meeting to do a "social activity". She didn't like it, but her husband made her admit she was wrong. I lived an hour from Bethel, so we knew many of them and several GB members came and gave talks. I think they saved the paper towels they dried their hands with, they were worshipped so much. It's disgusting.

Frannie: It's funny what you said, I post as MAN on Silent Lambs. I'm still trying to understand why that elder would describe fornication's smell and taste. Isn't that almost like telling a porn story? Jesus, what an idiot!! And "bizarre elders"? Isn't that a redundant phrase??
I have a feeling that there are hundreds if not thousands more stories that could be told about elders out there in WT land. I don't know if I want to know the whole story. It might be bad for my heart. What a sick cult.

To HockeyMullet:
I live in FL so we don't worry about antifreeze or wiper fluid like you do. But I'm sure antifreeze is deadly, my wife is an RN. That stuff will kill you slowly and painfully. I don't think wiper fluid is any bargain either. What an idiot. Just more great "medical" advice.
Bastards in God's organization?? Well, now, let's see. We have the entire GB, most elders at Bethel, the entire legal department is a bunch of weasels, and most elders in the world are bastards or almost qualify. (There are exceptions, but they won't last long. The WT doesn't like Christians to become elders. It ruins their agenda.)
As for marriage, the WT hasn't a clue as to who will marry who or when or what race. What a jerkoff. Maybe this clown will be killed and no one will have to suffer being married to HIM.
Oh, and the final thing about the accident. I've never seen a religion with people (I hate using that word, they barely qualify) that are so happy when "the enemy" (former members, etc.) suffer ill fortune. If a DF'd or DA'd person dies, gets sick, has a child die, loses their job, whatever, there they are just smiling away as if to say, "See, Jehovah took care of them good. We STILL have the truth."
I have news for all you JW's. You do NOT have the truth. You never did. Most of you might mean well, but you are, as a group, mentally ill. They should ship all of you to an island and see how well you do. You have no Christian love for anyone or anything. If a DF'd person's DOG got hit by a car, I'm sure you would rejoice over its pain and suffering. You make Adolph Hitler look like Mother Theresa. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. An ANIMAL has more compassion than you do.
You think it's cute to smirk when others suffer?? Did Jesus teach that? What about "love your enemies"? Ex-JW's are NOT your enemies, nor should they be. They are decent people who saw through the lies of the WT and are trying to help you not waste your lives. The Good Samaritan did NOT believe the Mosaic Law, only the first five books. Technically, they were "apostates" to the Jews. Yet Jesus spoke well of that person because they helped someone in need. He didn't laugh at the victim (probably a Jew) but helped him. That's like an "apostate" stopping to help a JW who has a flat tire after other JW's drove past him because it was raining. Talk about hypocrisy.
You JW's all have "goat gloat". Everyone who doesn't get baptized the second they hear your message is a "goat". You gloat over their coming deaths. What would happen if God killed all JW's for "lack of mercy"?

Frannie:
He described fornication?? I wonder why the man/woman got different punishments. Did she make more noise? I have met hundreds of elders and maybe out of all that amount, about 50 DON'T need therapy. The rest need 1,000 years of psychological help. Wait, maybe that fits. I've heard that number before.......
