Mr Russell said peace would be taken from the earth in 1914--he was correct--- He saw the first ride of the white horse( rev 6) by Jesus who recieved his crown( 1914) he erred by putting a date on harmageddon, but was absolutly correct on the other two events. The rapture is a false teaching that is not found in Gods written word.

It was Jesus who said--satan is the ruler of this world. Yes every human on the planet has a form of love as all did in Noahs day as well. They do nice things for each other, they love,share,care just like the people in Noahs day did as well. Here are some with such a strong love for Jesus and their fellow man that they spent their time doing powerful works in the name of Jesus--yet Jesus rejects them-Matt 7:21-23.
Yes there are many kind deeds done on a daily basis--not only from those claiming to be christian, but from muslims,buddists, etc,etc,even those in prision for crimes against humanity do acts of kindness. Hitler did acts of kindness,had love in his heart--Gods word teaches that even the wicked love their family and friends but it is to no avail. i guess the biggest problem for mankind is that they think they say what is wicked and what isnt, but it is far from truth--Gods word has clearly shown what God says is wicked. That is why it is a wise decision on everyones part to listen to and apply this teaching of Jesus-- Man does not live by bread alone, but by every utterance of Gods-- That means applying every utterance.
It is a good thing to have good works according to James who taught--faith without works is dead--meaning--by doing works it builds ones faith into a strong living faith--without doing the works ones faith is worthless. Anyone can say i have faith, but is it true?

Its impossible for the faithful and discreet slave to include the entire body of followers. 1) they are to give spiritual food at the proper time( lead teachers) the master( Jesus) apointed these over his domestics( teachers) also will appoint them over all of his belongings( flock) So the faithful and discreet slave are Jesus's appointed top teachers.

Mouthy-- Jesus appointed the faithful slave over his domestics- You call him a liar by not believing his words. The false religious teachers in Jesus day called his new religion a sect ( cult ) as well. same happening today. Why- Because the fs learns from the holy spirit-The false religious teachers learn in schools of men.

jean-luc--- i am a united states citizen- you are right i erred its not my side actually-i voted for Jesus, not a kingdom of man. And whomever said that the JW,s enjoy others pain and suffering is only using 1% of their brain. Thats sick thinking. They have spent almost the last 100 years trying to warn you out of love in their hearts for you. But as Gods word said-satan is the god of this system of things. He shows how crafty he is compared to mere mortals, like in Noahs day-8 humans knew the true God-the rest were decieved. He took control of the israelites over and over in the ot until finally he had them have Jesus killed. He is posing as God in all the false religions- He decieved millions of angels to fall with him. I think one will need more than luck to beat him. They need the faithful slave.

Pika-Chu-- You are wrong about why God will wipe out wickedness off of the earth. He let it go on to make sure all were weeded out that may cause this to happen again-same reason after the ressurection and everyone learns truth, satan will be loosed again for a little while, and it says some will follow him-then they deserve death. And this wicked system will never happen again,Paradise forever and ever. God is sending his folks warning you of what is coming-most slam the door in their face, its their fault if they cannot see truth from false. To be righteous then in paradise one must also strive to be righteous now as well. Not an easy task in this system. And partly humans asked for this in the garden of Eden by sinning and believing they wouldnt need God if they knew right from wrong themselves. The reason it has advanced so fast in the last 125 years or so compared to the first 5900 years or so is because we are being rushed to Harmageddon , it is closer than one thinks. One prophecy remains after the prophecy of Egypt-Libya-and thats the fall of babylon the great- false religion-one cannot get in after that occurs. 9 countries have allready done just that according to cnn.

Meeting was totally soulless, joyless
by yadda yadda 2 ini went to a sunday meeting recently (for family reasons).
it was the first meeting i'd attended in a few years.
i couldn't help but notice how utterly soulless it was.

I know many JW people who are wonderful righteous folks-Most probably are just ones who are attempting to be a true JW,s but fall way short, and these are the ones the others who fall way short base their opinions on and convince themselves there is no truth there with the JW,s- They feel dead inside because of what is actually inside of themselves. The road is narrow-few will find it. They lack the true understanding because they havent learned to develop the fruits of the spirit- And one cannot possibly judge what is felt in others hearts in reality-The heart is desperate and treacherous who can know it? So God shows right there we dont really even know our own hearts let alone anothers.

Mouthy- Hi i am newer around here-- If one listened to Jesus they would know the JW,s teach truth- Seems to be alot of judgement against the Jw,s because of what some certain individuals have done, i have seen ones made to fall because of that myself. I have studied with different religions that claim christianity, the only ones who even remotely look like they listen to Jesus are the JW,s. I suppose your opinion is different, but their are many facts of history and reality that must be considered.
