Murderer's Paradise too...

one of the brothers, known throughout the land for his mean temper and addiction to alcohol, confides - no brags - to this child, a girl, that he has committed a murder.
the child, being 8 or 9 at the time, doesn't understand the concept.

Murderers should be locked up. Taking a life is a serious matter.
The person should report the murder if it is eating at her conciense. She should seek to see justice done. At the end of the day, if she stands on the side of truth then she may get a hard time (shunning etc) for it, but, if she continues to serve Jehovah away from the evil WTS, then Jehovah will bless her.

Goodbye and i want to say thanks

i just want to say thanks to the number of people who i have spoken to and share stories with, i thought i was the only one who left for the reasons i did but i have met many and they have strenghened me in my life course now, basically i had never looked up witnesses before and was thinking about returning to the borg when i found this site, you all made me see that it would be like going backwards.
i feel strong now and will be not returning to this site, mainly as i want to let the past stay in the past, wts is the past and while i keep re-hashing it it will always affect my life.. thanks all.

by left, i mean either df'd and decided not to go back, or da'd, or faded, or even just realized it was a crock but stuck around anyway for family reasons?.
we're told in la-la-land that it's the newly baptized, those who are "spiritually immature" that mostly leave.

they have been building up for quite some time, since the other message board wouldn't let me register because i felt uncomfortable putting what congregation i was with at the time in the appropriate box.
i'd like to start off by saying i love this discussion board, and i'm glad so many people are finding help here.
