i do not believe the end of the world is significantly closer today than it was 500 years ago.
The year 2016 will be the end of ninety generations since Abraham if you calculate one generation to be 42 years. This generation will by no means pass away until all of these things take place. However the days will be cut short on account of the chosen ones, so something significant has to happen shortly that will cause fear among the nations.......look for it in the headlines.......

i prayed that 2 japanese men would come to church today, and thank god that 1 said yes so far.............so please pray he and his friend would come not only to church, but to jesus.

Calm down boys. You're exercizing your right to disbelieve. Isn't that wonderful? What if everyone thought the way you do, would you be happy and content then? I somehow don't think so. Being edgy and going against the grain suits you both. The anger and intolerance you routinely exhibit when anyone professes faith in Jesus Christ on this board is hard not to notice. Which makes me curious about your (respective) reasons for participating on a religious issues board. Could it be that you are so angry and empty inside the only way to appease the angst is to lash out at others, like dogs and pigs?
By the way, I was replying to the OP. It's too bad you projected yourselves into those scriptures.

Interesting comment and not without merit by any means. There are many on this board that feel decieved and/or rejected for their not taking part in the teachings, or labeled as apostates. GOD will set matters straight among the nations so just put faith in GOD and try to love one another.....

A belief of faith or a deliberate deception ?
They believe it to be so they are not trying to decieve anyone. There is deception without a doubt and those that are decieving are well aware of it. GOD knows their hearts and minds. It narrows down to finances, the love of money is the root of all evil.....

Read Job chapter 1. Even Satan is included among the "sons of God". Everyone is a son of God by means of Creation. To aknowlege or reject such is everyone's privilege. Doesn't change the fact, tho. And yes, even God may destroy his creations, indeed, his sons also. I wouldn't want his job, for sure.

I am aware how even the wicked spirits were referred to as sons of GOD. GOD has to uphold His own laws otherwise the law is meaningless. I trust that GOD will excercise perfect judgment so I am not worried. Repentance will be the subject matter beginning in the thousand year reign of Christ. Many if not all people will repent. GOD is Almighty and to feel His strength is unfathomable.......

It is not a black or white question, and you are creating a logical fallacy to frame it that way. A far better choice would have been to not join a high control, fear based religion.
How many faiths are not a high control and fear based religion? All pretty much teach destruction of the wicked.

How can one be called a son if they do not acknowledge their father? Does GOD refer to those that do not acknowledge Him as His son? I don't believe so......satan is a creation by GOD but is refered to as satan. Satan is the father of those that follow him (it) in like manner. Dawkin is a son of satan.
