For all those years when i was at the meetings, we were all told that the reason why this organisation has survived is because of Jehovah's spirit. MAJOR BULLSH*T RIGHT HERE! A real good reason for its survival has been the totaly business like notion of putting ones fingers in more than one pie. This is not a religion to me. Its definately a business. Where is the tobbaco reference? I cant see it, but if so then that is even more shocking.
What about all that about the true religion being from Jehovah and him blessing it and not letting it fail. "Actualy brothers, we mean to say its thanks to Microsoft, Harley Davidson and Johnson and Johnson. They are actualy blessing our work."

Its crazy what im finding out from the bible now.
For example, I recall this scripture being read MANY times from the platform. Galatians 5 was another hottie.
But as regards Galatians 1 and 2: NEVER EVEN HEARD THEM BEFORE!
Madness! Being kicked out has done wonders for my spirituality. Its up to me now - i cant rely on them anymore to feed me.

i was reading john's second letter before in my nlt bible and i came accross the scriptures used to back up the act of shunning former jw's.
in my bible it reads totaly contrary to the way the jw's say, so i decided to get out the old nwt bible which gives exactly the same ideas.
here are some of my thoughts:.
I find it VERY satisfying when you can show and prove to a JW, including elders, that what they are looking at is in fact incorrect. Now that im reading the New Testament, im finding SO many discrepancies in what i was taught by the Watchtower. Im posting about one a day on JW Net.
