Searching For an Elder's Manual (with margin scribble)

every day i am on here, i learn new things.

a little while back, there was a post about the existense of elder manuals with km required notes in the margin area that gave away a little more than the gb wanted.. how do i get my hands on a copy of that?

i know it's difficult to obtain pay attention (with margin scribble) and it's all the more difficult to obtain a copy of shepherd the flock of god (with margin scribble) since it is relatively newer.. if anyone could help me find a copy, be it hardcopy or pdf, i would give my left cheek.

to be specific... just confine any help to the creation book or recent jerusalem's destruction articles, ok!.

if anyone has a list of these known miss quotes i would appreciate seeing them.. a few have been alluded to through posts and i seem to remember a couple from last fall??.

if you have actual communication from the source refuting the quote that would be helpful as well.. for example if you or someone e-mailed an author, or for example a scientific publication that was quoted.

way in JW literature... these are the kinds of things I am looking for.

want any old JW literature ?

omg i can not believe the amount of literature we accumilated over the years as jw's !

i threw away two full garbage cans full of bound volumes two yrs ago .a year before that i threw all the loose magazines away .

i kept one box of my moms really old stuff in the garage .

There are a few of us who collect these publications and also list on ebay. Some collect for reasons of showing up errors in the history and writings of JWs and some because of alliegence to the organization and an interest in their history. Personally I have found the errors and misleading statements appalling. I have handled two JW estate books etc. for families who lost loved ones and were not interested in keeping the books etc...I asked for a small percentage of sales. It takes a lot of work to write up a description, take pictures, communication back and forth with buyers or interested parties, packing and shipping, etc... I always look for "keepers: as I call them as well, from estates, swap meets, or people getting rid of the books or memorbilia....and offer an honest price if they are so inclined. It is best to do it yourself obviously, but some don't want to take the time.... Contact me by PM if you want me to help. Honestly the items that are post-1940s, are hardly worth the trouble except in a few cases....List the PM in subject line under Bible Research and Study Articles, then I'll see it. Not promoting anything, just explaining. Hope this doesn't ruffle any feathers....
