I have no idea why so many thumbs down. I have been reading here for years and this has been covered. This is accurate stuff that was said years ago.

When I was growing up in the 60's 70's there were always stories of demons. My mom's dad seeing foggy figures in the basement because God would not let them fully materialize anymore.

Buying things at garage sales could bring the demons into your home.

My mom insisted we had demons twice and had to get rid of things. There was knocking on the walls , demons ! It was more so in the earlier days as we go back in time. Back in the late 1800's it's no surprise to me that they would be even crazier.. I don't come here often so really don't fully know his ideas. Just my opinion. I never leave the house on New Year's Eve ! 11:22 pm here.

My sister is getting older, 65, she thinks back to our old congregation and has some good memories. She ran into some old JW friends.

Being lonely and braking up with her BF, she is thinking how easy it would be to just fake being a JW, being she is agnostic I can see many more PIMO people coming back . She wants more friends and they are some nice people..

She won't do it but the thought has crossed her deviant mind.

My ex mother in law ( wonderful, loving person) was telling me she would be in the mountains raising goats. It made me think , my JW mom never said what she looked forward to doing in paradise. As soon as I got home I could hardly wait to call her. " Mom, mom what do you want to do in the new world " Her answer was " What ever they tell me " I was so disappointed.

I said " guess you will be digging graves. " Yes, I'm kind of a smart ass .My poor mom died at 92 without the promise she would never die. So disturbed !

What evidence is there for a biblical jesus?

is there any independently verified evidence that a miracle worker called jesus existed and did the things that the bible said he did?.

the four gospels were written by unknown authors many decades after the so called events, so can't be considered as eyewitness accounts.

i think that there may have been a apocalyptic preacher who was executed by the romans and the story evolved from their.

JOSEPHUS is the only one I have heard spoke of Jesus. Lots of good stuff on you tube. Yes Bart Ehrman books

are great reading if you're interested in early Chistian history. Thriftbooks have lots. Start with Misquoting Jesus.

For some reason in my experience, all the gay men I've known all my life have had the best personalities and always make me feel funny, cool, young and beautiful.. . I just got a new gay next door neighbor and I love him and his microbladed eyebrows. Best neighbor ever !

it must be significantly different to other exjw forums.

it would be a damning report for watchtower if most of us appear to have left for decades.. you don't have to mention your exact age, you could always say "in my 50s".. i am in my 70s.

YOU ASKED WHY SOME OF US BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION. Coffty did a forty part "why evolution is a fact" from 7 years ago. I still have it bookmarked. Welcome to the site. I can so clearly see you and your wife laughing your butts off about some of the silly things they believe and do. We remember !975. 1914 generation, overlapping generation. COO COO. Hey, we could be crying but I too chose to laugh.. Why would God have to strike the magic wand billions of times ? (99%of the population is extinct) when he really only had to do it once. or two more times if you count humans. Catholics believe in both. Retroviruses were very interesting to me..
