what was the reason for canceling the book study in private homes

Wasn't it just slightly before the organisation reassured and explained wider this co-existing generations thingy. At least for me the purpose of the book study at home was explained as precaution for forthcoming persecution. When this would happen we would only meet in private homes. As it was obvious that the end wasn't in such near future as was thought earlier, they could temporarilly simplify things and get rid of meetings in private homes. Be certain than when the end is really really near again this arrangement will pop-up again.

What constitues "evidence" for scriptural divorce?

Oh yes, I forgot the overnight stay thing. But what about if this sister in elder book arranges party every night, and this boy is simply so absent-minded that he forgets each evening when the last train went. But do note it must be train, sisters house by the busline would not count and the poor nerd must go and wait on the train station for a while each evening.

Oh and when they are ready with whatever they are doing they then must go and sleep, the boy on the couch and the girl in her bedroom, otherway around would be absolutelly forbidden. What happens when they are awake do not count here.

Based on the facts in the description I would say that this party involves also substantial amount of alcohol as obviously this poor brother is no more able to drive his car. That's why he must go and check the train timetables in the middle of the night. Yes and the girl obviously do not use the train at all as she had not knowledge about it's timetables, she is a car driver but she too is too drunk to drive. Or maybe she won't drive because they would be alone in the car and it was not exempted here.

For the last example in elder book it is obvious that it is ok that this brother sleeps in the same bedroom when the husband is also present, but when he's gone he must find another sleeping arrangement.

Assuming the betraying party is male.

He confesses

His girlfriend or boyfriend comes and confesses ( this is tricky if he denies it all)

two witnesses see him doing it with another person than his spouse

There is undeniable video or audio recording of the event

DNA proof shows that he is father to another womens children

Assuming the betraying party is female

She confesses

Her boyfriend or girlfriend comes and confesses ( this is tricky if she denies it all)

two witnesses see her doing it with another person than her spouse

There is undeniable video or audio recording of the event

She gets pregnant and he got proof that they have not had intercourse in suitable timeframe.

What will happen if I get married in a church?

Assuming you are baptised Jehovahs Witness two things will happen simultaneously

1. You will most propably get married according to legislation of your area, it means you are officially married, even in eyes of JW

2. With your action you have participated in false activity of Babylon the Great and therefore you have disassociated yourself. Short announcement will be read soon after.

As long as you will remain disassociated you will not be subject to free to remarry kind of rules if life wouldn't show to be like in fairytales.

It cannot happen this year. It is predicted by so many worldly and pagan sources that it would be disgraceful to god if their predictions would hit the target better than his spirit guided organisation's.

...for helping me see the light.. in 2008 i voted for the first time ever.

i voted for obama for president because i truly believed he and biden were a better choice to lead america than anybody running with sarah palin.

she scared me and still does even though i respect and admire john mccain.. being in texas and enjoying our relatively strong local economy i voted for rick perry to remain as governor and voted a mix of republican, democrat, and one libertarian for the other state and local positions that were up for election.

Mr. Flipper thank you for your viewpoint. I do understand it is most common standpoint in this forum and kind of reason d'etre for this forum in overall. I might have said it earlier that for me it is really irrelevant if JW belief is true or not, for me it simply do not matter. I find the expectation of paradise with friendly people without sickness and worries appealing and charming, that is why I really do hope this would be true one day for humanity. But personally I do not want to live that way, therefore I pass. CP

Assuming JW religion has truth, what would be the final end result of living obedient and active witness life is something I really do not want to experience. Therefore I rather stay outside, but wish at the same time that all the hopes and expectations of witnesses will become true for them.

Threats from the JW mafia (subtle threats)

my dad recently found out i wasn't coming to meetings and going out in field service.

he found an excuse to get me alone in his car and just lit into me about it.

he said that if i'm not going out in service that i'm not one of jehovah's witnesses and the brothers won't be able to trust me when the time comes to go undercover due to being attacked by the authorities.

In case you have really determined not to be part of JW when big A occurs, I guess it wouldn't really matter to you if you would or wouldn't get those secret directives. They wouldn't be your ballgame anymore as you are waiting the ground to swallow you or your nearest building to crash over you. If you have again chosen to try to reach the life in eternity in paradise that would obviously matter.
