Always, even if I was ill. The strange situation was the directions from the slave firmly asked ill people not to attend meetings (it was the swine influenza year) if they showed signs of illness, but the brothers and sisters in the congo were the ones who induced guilt. As soon as I missed a meeting, they called and said a few comforting words but they used that special kind of voice tone that wispers in the background "Stop making silly excuses and move your ass to the KH".

were you made to feel guilty if you missed a meeting / service ?
by man in black ingoing along with the last thread ( great subject matter) .
i'm sort of hitching along here.. we had a bookstudy at our home for several years, every week we were prepared, and we handled service arraingements every saturday morning, even with two young children.. one saturday morning, ( in the middle of winter) one son had a bad cold, and our furnace konked out around 8:15 am.. i was running around trying to get ready for service, calling a repair man, and help my wife get ready for service.. the group comes in at 9:00, and i'm on the phone talking to the repair man who wants to come out between 10-2.. so i'm not going out this morning, and i'm staying home with my sick son, wife and son #2 are going out in service.. conductor comes downstairs and looks at the furnace ( he is a school teacher, no mechanical experience at all, check out my earlier thread video under friends, page 5827 titled "elder makes a video,,,, this is the same guy ) and gives me the classic guilt trip because i'm not going out in service for at least an hour this morning.. i remember thinking just who is this guy, trying to make me feel bad because my family is #1, service is not my focus today.. after all of these years, i cannot help but think of this comment now :.

The Ransom for Nitwits
by Farkel inmark 10:45: "for even the son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.".
1 timothy 2:5-6: "for there is one god, and one mediator between god and men, the man christ jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.".
the ransom that was taught for the first 1,000 years of christianity.

Yea, but let's not forget that if the black gay Messiah, Larsinger, adds his ransom to Jesus', then the debt is settled.

I seen a hot celebrity actress in the supermarket but she shows too much cleavage, should I date her?
by unshackled ini was thinking i could take the diamonds i found on my front lawn, sell them to a jeweler to pay for a sex change so i can date the actresses' brother to get to her thru him, then dump the brother, find more diamonds to reverse the sex change, date her and then tell her she shows too much cleavage and i want her to change?
will this work?
am i that bad?

If she is a celebrity and goes to the supermarket, this means she is excentric. You might stand a chance.

I have a small vineyard, a wooden smasher and a wooden press. The grapes pass through 2 big spinning cylinders, into a big wooden barrel, around 100 litres. I leave them for 2 days, so that the Drosophilas can have enough time to plant the yeast. I put them in the press and squeeze them. I get around 40-50 litres of slightly fermented grape juice. I put the juice in a big glass (it's mandatory to be made of glass) recipient (50 litres), with a special cap so that CO2 can get out without air getting in. Then everything goes down in my basement. The wine is ready for Christmas, every year. It has no chemicals in it, just wine made like in the old days.

New arrangement
by DagothUr ini don't know if anyone has already posted this since i was in corfu island in the last 2 weeks.
it's from the jwn forum:.
september 2011 km says, "publishers auxiliary pioneering during march 2012 will have the option of working toward a 30-hour or a 50-hour requirement for the month.

That's an interesting point. We used to have the bookstudy on thursday evening and the ministry school and local needs on tuesday evening. Wanktower study and public talk sunday morning. Then thursday evening was cancelled and now they have from tuesday to sunday...enough time not wasted in the service of Jay Hoover. The GB, being the control freaks they are, will change this, I bet.

I think this arrangements is about to become permanents in 1 or 2 years.

Refuting the ARGUMENT BY DESIGN.
by nicolaou init's tiresome and it doesn't add up but it's one of the most popular arguments for god's existence, "the argument by design.
" jehovah's witnesses and other believers point out a wonder of nature like the eye and compare it to a 'lesser' mechanical wonder of human design like a camera.
the supposed conclusion is that this natural wonder is evidence of creation by a powerful designer; god.. .

That's a video which contains a lot of speculations and almost no valid arguments. Just because they found the tomb of a young deceased Tutankhamun, he must have been the son of the Pharaoh of the Exodus, killed by the angel in the plague of the firstborns??? The video builds up entire theories (presented as truth) from mere suppositions (also presented as truth). Religious bullshit.
