  DA'd youth... How did your parents respond?

  i'm wondering how any of your parents responded when you disassociated yourself with a letter.. should i do so?

  By the way, it wasn't that bad. They didn't even question me. They just propaganda'd me with the December 2010 Awake.

  I did write my DA letter though and I might send it off by mail. By then I'll be at my uncle's house .

  Should I have mentioned "wrongdoing" in my letter or should I remove it? What do you think?

  Pretty much, my Dad got his hands on some stuff I wrote online that showed pro-LGBT views and showed that I visited a gay ex-JW site (hehe doesn't know about this site lol). He asked me if I ever did anything with a guy and I said no. Of course, that's a stretch. So this is where I'm at.

  But I'm leaving right after all that. In fact my Dad somehow is getting my uncle to come after the meeting. Sucks right? And yes I'm 19 and yes I'm gay. (oops a pioneer)

  I know, but I'm just afraid I might slip something by accident while talking or look like a liar by something I'll say. I'm not sure it'd be easy avoiding the two elders because my Dad is the Coordinator of the Body of Elders. By the way, they found out through some forum posts that I wrote. However they don't know the whole story.

  Yea it makes sense. I'm having two elders talking to me on Sunday, right before I'm moving out to live at my uncle and grandpa's house (good timing ). Should I tell the truth or will the holy spirit open it up if I lie?
