Did Anyone Have Fun With Their Field Service Reports?
by NotFormer innow that there is new light on reporting hours in field service, it's raised a few questions for me, who was never in the jws.
did any of you ever have fun with the field service report slips, by finding creative ways of reporting time without raising suspicions in those who oversaw the collection of those slips?.
also, can anyone upload an image of what the slips looked like, or point me to a post that gives uploaded examples of the sort of paperwork that was familiar to jws in good standing?.

@Notformer:
That absolutely happened. I heard it first hand in car groups. The previous owners may have to be removed and thrown onto the streets for the birds to eat before the new owner could get in there to switch out the drapes (not my words). Then everyone in the car would drive to Dunkin Donuts for a "break".

That's like asking "Did you ever have fun at your proctologist appointments?"

Thought on “0 hours” reporting
by FFGhost inso everyone knows the “big news” of this past weekend, no more reporting of hours, placements, return visits, etc.
beginning november 1, jws just tick a box indicating whether they “shared in any form of the ministry during the month”.. so there was a brief comment by a redditor that seems like a brief joke “throwaway comment” but after thinking about it….why not?.
the idea is, what is “any form of the ministry”?
-
MeanMrMustard
But the actual amount of real ministry will plummet. All those “20 hour” publishers will now be “4 hour” publishers. All the current “4 hour” publishers will now become “2 minute” publishers..
You act like they didn't do that before and just lie about the time spent... :)
I've seen all sorts of people do this - just squint and write a reasonably plausible number down... 3... 4....7....2. Meh, it's not like they pull you into a back room and audit you. Did they really spend 7 hours "witnessing"? Hell no. But, maybe they showed up to one Saturday (and then drove around and got doughnuts). After that, well, perhaps they wrote letters. Who can know?
They always knew people were doing that. Now they just reduced the lie to a checkbox.

When did you see realise James Lloyd Evans was a wrongun?
by usualusername1 ini remember him on this site when he was called cedars and had jw survey.. straightaway i noticed he could not accept suggestions.. the time i knew he was dangerous was when his group aawa added people to their fb group without their permission and were outed.. he refused to close the fb page (whilst celebrating 1300 members joining in a few days).
one member complained and was subsequently disfellowshipped, which could easily have been avoided.. three week's after launching, the fb page was closed down.
from that moment i knew james lloyd evans was dangerous.. when did you realise he not good?.

It does take one thing he explicitly admits that he is lacking: Mastery of his penis.

Im sure he will be happy to continue using vulnerable people until he builds enough support in the new genre and then those “lloyal” supporters will see how much lloyd didn’t care about them, just their $.
Waaiiittt. Wut?
So he's bailing on the WT grift, in favor of a "genre" more accepting of his values?
Is he... he... actually going to start an OnlyFans?! I mean, we were joking about this at the very start of the megathread. Is it actually happening?

Is There Concrete Evidence That The Org. Has Covered up Child Abuse?
by Vanderhoven7 ini hear of a plenty of personal testimonies of abuse but it is harder to prove organizational complicity.

Right, but that goes to the heart of this thread.
You are saying they WANT to have molesters among them, and even appointed. That would mean they aren't motivated by the organization having a good public image.
Officially, there isn't a "we love molesters" position. It's officially quite the opposite. They officially abhor child molestation. If you went up to the average elder, and said, is it good to molest children, you honestly belive he would say, "Meh. Whatever. "?

I guess what I was trying to say is that I don't know why they don't adopt a policy like that. I mean, it gives them a lot of reputational points. Just come out and say "Predators are everywhere. No religion condones this stuff, and we belive its not a reflection of the religion when a predator tries to find a spot to prey on innocent people. But we won't tolerate it."
I mean, why not? It makes the org look cleaner. Then would be cleaner, objectively! And they aren't violating biblical standards at all. All the law suit stuff goes away (at least going forward).
