If I was the WTS, I would be using Steganography to identify leakers. It's easy to do and difficult to detect.It's a two-edge sword, though. If you can discover the location of the message and how it's encoded, likely the information encoded is some ID, a user GUID perhaps. If you know the ID of some other user, a GB member perhaps, you can sub that value in and pass the file around - which would be highly entertaining.

when I sign into my jw account I know there are imprint security in my personal account so if I screenshot or send to someone then it could be linked back to me
they have software wiz kids working at fish hill which is the IT capital of bethel world headquarters, now they are fiercely going after any moles
Now that's super interesting. Question: did the WT ever require you to install any software as a prerequisite to getting an online elder account? -

A group of 136 countries set a minimum global tax rate of 15% for big corporations
by Disillusioned JW ina group of 136 countries set a minimum global tax rate of 15% for big corporations.
that is a major goal accomplished by the biden administration.
seehttps://www.wsj.com/articles/countries-agree-to-global-deal-to-curb-tax-avoidance-11633709979 .. if corresponding legislation gets passed into law in the usa it will be much harder for corporations doing business in the usa to move their operations out of the usa to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.

Talking about paying a "fair share" is just bullshit. The mafia is going around collecting protection money and your response is to make sure some of the larger local businesses pay a bit more. The problem is that the mafia shouldn't take anyone's money - it's theft.
Corporations do not pay taxes, people do. You might steal ... err, collect... the money from the corporations, but they don't actually pay, people do. Either prices rise, production falls, or the employees absorb the cost (lower wages or even less jobs).

My Prediction Regarding New Space Telescope That Will See Back to 100 Million Years From the Big Bang
by Sea Breeze ina new space telescope launched a few days age that will supposedly be able to see to within 100 million years of the big bang.
wow... only 100 million years from the big bang.
that is pretty early given the 12 billion year age of the universe assigned by scholars who adhere to naturalism.

The scientific process, by definition, is going to yield incorrect results most of the time. It's an inductive process. The errors normally come to light when new measurements, or new information, invalidates or refines a previous view.
It's probably not the best strategy to rely on the 'can't explain X' / god-of-the-gaps argument. From a sheer strategy standpoint, theists really should stay clear of this game plan.
Theories will be refined, more information will be found, and refined again. Explanations will be formulated, applied to other aspects of life, and verified. When that happens, it does 10 times more damage to the theists credibility (regardless of which side is correct) than any atheist on a forum, spouting off names, could ever do.

Is burying someone on a golf course tacky?
by GabeAthouse intrump's first wife and mother of his children died recently.
they had her buried on his golf course.
do you think this is tacky or a savvy business move since it'll now get them some tax breaks as a cemetery?.

Might be a good exercise to go through. Can you list an example of BDS?

Are You Concerned About Inflation?
by Simon ini saw a statistic the other day that something like 25% of all the debt that the us has incurred since 1776 was created in the last 12 months.
that's because they have printed so much currency and instead of letting that stop them, they are going to continue printing more to go on a spending spree on crazy green-new-deal schemes and union handouts.. does anyone think that this can be anything other than inflationary?
they are effectively stealing the wealth of everyone to then hand money out to people.

@road:
Having a convention doesn't mean anyone can introduce anything. There would be a few amendments up for consideration. If California, for example, wanted to introduce an amendment to remove the 2nd, they can be told to pound sand. It doesn't work like legislation now (where it's a package deal and to get new limiting amendments, lefty ones have to come with it). And each proposed amendment goes to the states separately for ratification.

20 Things I Don't Understand about Jehovah's Witnesses
by Vanderhoven7 ini don’t understand how jehovah’s witnesses can rightly claim:.
that less than 150,000 faithful christians existed prior to the 20th century....when allegedly millions were martyred during the first 3 centuries of the common era alone.
unique ability to interpret scripture...when interpretation of prophecy has been 100% wrong for over 130 years.. .

The day the music died.
by Fisherman inis there any new music or singers whatsoever nowadays or just junk?
and how about movies, besides documentaries is there anything at all, any movie at all, any new actor at all that that has any real worth to watch and enjoy or is it all a boring waste of time.
.

@Fisherman:
Yeah, movies too. The default, for me, is 'not good'. For pop music, the default is 'crap'. Movie and music studios aren't looking for great sounds and great stories. They have corporate formulas.
