  The "Regular Pioneer" title has now become a total joke

  we just had our co visit a few weeks ago.

  apparently, he was encouraging all who could to regular pioneer, to at least try it out for a year.

  because of this, we had a few people in our hall become one.. so this weekend we were on zoom service, and the sister that was just appointed was talking about it.

  does the watchtower/jw organization regard its readers & jws as fools and are they secretly laughing at them?

  for some examples consider the following.. the wt literature has many times used odd language where they say one thing but word it in such a way as to suggest something else.

  they have said that a number of jws drew incorrect expectations about a number of things, including about 1914 and 1975, though it was the wt itself which proclaimed and taught those expectations in the wt's literature to jws.

  The plan, all the spending, is based on the philosophy that really good things come from the government. In reality, markets are the best coordinator. The farther you stray from the markets, the more waste, bubbles, anger, resource squandering you get.

  It has gone too far as it is - and some think (as you state) it isn't going far enough. The push along this philosophical line will cause more and more dysfunction until there is a crisis.

  And of course, markets will get the blame - either from the ignorant or the malevolent.

  that is a major goal accomplished by the biden administration.

  Shooting breaks out in the Texas Border.

  last night the drug cartels fired hundreds of rounds across the united states border aimed at a texas border station.

  the administration has forbidden the news media to cover the event.and will not send the military to texas to secure the border.

  some news agencies across the border are saying that this morning, the border was attacked by drug cartels armed with 50 caliber machine guns.. here is one video of last night.

  They needed to make sure he fully confessed all misgivings, methodically, in a journal, minute by minute, with as much details as he could remember, possibly with diagrams and sketches. And if he recorded any of the encounters, copies of the... evidence... should be made available to all the elders for review, careful review. That is the only thing that might show his contriteness.

  professor jordan peterson of the university of toronto will be streaming a live debate on his youtube channel on the topic of free speech and "bill c-16".. if you haven't heard (where have you been?

  ) peterson has been making waves by opposing the demands of pc "social justice warriors" at the u of t to use their chosen gender neutral pronouns.

  in his judgement proposed "bill-c16" will make his non-compliance illegal - an egregious threat to free speech.. professor peterson is an intelligent and thoughtful academic who has found himself at the focus of attacks from the neo-marxists that are dominating the conversation at elite universities.

  quite bizarrely, there are people trying their level best to blur the lines between man and woman, male and female.. so, i thought it a fairly good idea to list the differences, on average, between men and women.. ok, starting with the most obvious .... women have a vulva, a vagina, and internal gonads (ovaries); men have a penis and external gonads (testes).. women get pregnant, give birth and breastfeed their babies; men do none of those things.. men are taller than women.. men have greater upper-body strength than women.

  men have greater bone density and percentage of muscle mass than women.. women live longer than men (this is partly due to life choices and behaviour and partly due to genetics).. men have higher testosterone levels than women.. men heal more quickly from physical injury than women.. the sexual dynamics between men and women tend to be different, too.

  re sexual selection, women typically have their choice of the most suitable men.

  I remember reading (or listening to - can't remember now) an experience of a trans-male and all the emotional changes he had as the hormone therapy took effect. He related that as the transition took, he would still go out with his former girlfriends. They were supportive, and it was fine for a while. Soon, though he found that his interests shifted, and the "girl talk" was annoying. He was less patient when they talked about feelings and would often want them to shift the conversation to "things" rather than feelings. It was interesting because he was aware of the emotional changes happening.

  It is usually a bit worse than that. I've noticed it with bacon and deli meats - the price goes up and simultaneously the quantity in the package goes down.

  Corporations do not pay tax. It gets passed on, either to employees or consumers (or both).

  You can't tax your way to a better world. If you want wealth there has to be the production of the wealth by rational allocation of resources (markets).
