  i hope this is in the right area.

  i've been studying the 2520 days/years 607/587/586 debacle.

  for a while now i have felt 1914 was wrong.

  Until the seventy years were "fulfilled". Until the 70 years were completed - as in the 70 years had already begun. The "servitude" spoken of by Jerimiah started before the destruction, and continued during exile, until it was finally "fulfilled". And when it was finally completed, Babylon was brought to account. That's the Biblical order. It matches history well. It doesn't match WT chronology.

  Nope. The seventy years was a period of the Exile in Babylon, Desolation of the Land of Judah and Servitude to Babylon beginning with the Fall of Jerusalem in 607 BCE. and ending with the Return in 537 BCE. Nice and easy!!!

  Jer 25:12 states the seventy years would end, then Babylon would be called to account. It says it explicitly, directly. You are just mistaken, as is the WT. Your mistake pits you directly against the holy book you so admire. Seventy years of servitude.

  I do not think the AZ audit will show anything new. The one thing they didn't want checked were the signatures. They had no problem showing the voting machines. The voting-machine-rigging line from Lynn Wood was always a giant distraction.

  And of course the GOP thought it would be a win to give up the signature audit in exchange for voting machines access. Fail.

  the thread about old timers got me thinking about trends i see with the watchtower.

  i've changed my opinion about where the organization stands.

  when i joined the religion in 1973 it was dynamic, even the small congregation i attended sent out three or four pioneers.
