Lorenzo: I live 10 minutes from Arcadia Congregation. I may pay them a visit.ROFL! You're KIDDING!!! You are in the heart of the occult world. If it is the same Kingdom Hall, it also hosts the Monrovia Congregation and a Spanish congregation. That whole region - Santa Anita, Arcadia, Monrovia. That's the center of a lot of occult stuff. Practically everything there has something to do with the occult and secret societies and witchcraft, the advanced "mysteries" and Satanism.Anyway, yes, go to the mid-week meeting in Arcadia! That's because they have student talks and lots of people participate on the program and you can study them. Sundays is just a talk and a Watchtower. A lot of rich brothers live there apparently. These are the brothers who take the governing body on trips to Russia and all that. People don't realize that there are a lot of rich brothers and they give the Society lots of money. But they make sure the Governing Body get all kinds of perks. IF they need to go on a trip to Russia or someplace, these are the brothers that pay for everything and go with them. They have special programs and trips that I never heard of before. The Azusa congregation is trippy too.Now let me just assure you I'm not crazy. For instance, I was there to infiltrate some of the secret societies there. So I was given a special pair of glasses. The nose guard broke off and I had to have it replaced. So I went to this occult shop to get it replaced and they put a special nose guard on my glasses. Then I went to another glass shop to get an eye exam and I guess when they saw the special nose gaurd with a special flower, they showed me a special eye test, to see if I recognized some occult figures. Of course I did, so they gave me a special prescription for a special pair of glasses. I don't know what the process was, whether it was a special cut or a special polishing, but they were regular clear prescription glasses that if you looked into the corner of the glasses you could see behind you! No kidding! LIke you can see your reflection in a window pane sometimes. It has either to do with the angle or a special polish. At any rate, I had to pay extra for it. So that is where you can get all that occult secret "watchers" stuff. So imagine having a pair of glasses that you can see behind you with!So that is real and that was part of convincing me about how underground societies work. But part of that was also wearing a certain type of clothing which evoked cult members to ask you a question. It was some benign question like, "What did you do for your vacation last summer" or something. Now I didn't know the right answer. But I didn't need to. Because I knew as soon as someone asked me that question, they were part of the secret society. See, you don't have to infiltrate an organization to confirm they exist. It is confirmed if you get asked the same question. So it's like if you're snooping around and they are not sure if you're another Freemason or something, they will ask you that question. If you don't have the right answer, then they know you are not a member or you're an imposter. But of course, as soon as they ask you that question, you know who they are, because you know what the question is. As a result, you become very aware of how extensive, at least in this area, the occult secret societies are. All kinds of secret signs everywhere.Anyway, I had to use those glasses at the Kingdom Hall once to see behind me. That meant I had to sit at the very front in the front row. But I could see everybody behind me and nobody knew I was looking at them. That's the key. People can watch what you are focusing on. They can see what you see. But if you can not be seen looking at something, then they don't know what you're looking at. That's why people who wear shades all the time are suspect; they don't want to get caught watching, Plus they've got some rare libraries. The Baldwin Park Library has some super rare books!Anyway, you're in the middle of Satandom! ROFL! I guess that means high-level Satanists are around there, that's all. Lots of natural herbs and vitamin shops. It is where the witches and warlocks go to shop, basically. ROFL! Nah, I don't want to scare you. But seeing is believing. I had to be shown just a few things that go on to believe the rest. A lot of things are offered in that area that are not offered anywhere else.Just go to the congregation with an open mind. Of course, if you live 10 minutes from the Kingdom Hall, you're probably rich too? Maybe not. -

Satan does not exist, but according to the Jews, he obeys Yahweh as one of his sons.Actually, he literally does exist. You were misinformed. The modern-day throne of Satan is in Arcadia, California. Have you ever been to the Arcadia Congregation of JW? Man.... -

Interesting concept. But in Satan's case, it's more like a case of self defense. You know, repenting if you're wrong and you know you're wrong is one thing. But what if you feel justified? Then you present your side of the case. Satan felt justified about a lot of things. He probably thought God was unfair about a lot of things.
The "battle in heaven" in Revelation, in fact, was Satan's trial. Was he really to be condemned to death or not? The one thing that killed Satan was how he murdered all those innocent people out of spite. I mean, what did the innocent death of mankind have to do with his issues with God and Jesus Christ? Nothing.
So this is more like a case of a man who goes in and rapes a mother and her two daughters and then kills them both. Then after he gets the death sentence, then he wants to keep living. If Satan is really sorry for what he did, then he would be more than happy to die out of respect for the people he killed.
God's rule: an eye for an eye.
The other issue is who Satan is, personality wise. You know how a super wealthy couple living in a big fine house start having kids? They have everything. They become pilots. They go to Nascar and all that opportunity. They travel the world. I know of a family personally where the father was going on his private yatch with a few people around the world and it was going to take like a year, so he gave his two sons, both who had a title $3 million each to spend while he was gone!! It's true. Okay, but for all the children they have, there are going to be some of them that just LOVE being rich! I mean they love the attention, the cars, the tennis, the sex, being waited on at the best tables, all that. And then there are the artistic children. They just don't want any part of it. They like the simple life. They are always sneaking out playing with the poor neighborhood kids. You know, being "rich" just doesn't take on some people.
Satan is like the rich kid who loves being rich. He's like the Mendez brothers who when their parents cut them off they killed them. They were rich and enjoyed the power of being rich and up front and looking down on everybody. He's like a Nazi. You know. Willing to exterminate people so that Germans can have "living space." He feels entitled. He is envious of what others have. So his beauty corrupted him. He started to identify with his beauty like a rich person identifies with his money. Being rich is part of who he is. If he can't be rich, he doesn't want the everyday life.
That's why the bible says it is hard for a "rich man" to get into the kingdom, because for everybody to be equal in a multi-cultural world, no slaves, no servants, how can the rich feel good? They have to clean that whole mansion up by themselves and cut the golf course lawn. Being rich doesn't work that well if you don't have a lot of servants! If you have to make your own breakfast and wash your own clothes, then, hey....
Anyway, Satan knows quite well he had no excuse to kill off mankind, but he is blood-thirsty. He's like a vampire who gets a kick out of death. So he will be dead soon himself and that will be that.
You know, when God made the angels, he made them mortal as free moral agents. So going in it was understood that he'd have to kill off some of them who couldn't enjoy what God had planned. So it was just a matter of where to draw the line. Satan led the rebellion to the other side of the line and that's it. His only legacy now is to kill off as many people as he possibly can. But the more people Satan kills, the higher the quality of those he doesn't. So it's a catch-22. The people who are left are the best people.

What kind of errors in the Bible?
by TheWonderofYou inthe new testament specialist daniel wallace notes that although there are about 300,000 individual variations of the text of the new testament, this number is very misleading.
most of the differences are completely inconsequential--spelling errors, inverted phrases and the like.
a side by side comparison between the two main text families (the majority text and the modern critical text) shows agreement a full 98% of the time.[18].

Crazyguy2 hours ago One major error in the Bible is the story of David and Goliath, experts have looked at the armor Goliath was described as wearing and it's matches that of a much later Greek hoplite soldier. The Philistines are shown on the walls of Egypt showing exactly what they wore. This shows the writer who made up the story did it at a much later time and he didn't realize that the soldiers of the time line depicted didn't have armor like this or even the technology to create it.
Not quite an internal contradiction, but very interesting! I hadn't heard of this one before. But reminds me of another passage where Jesus is chastizing the slave he sent out to make a profit with a drachma coin and when the slave just returned the coin Jesus said at the very least he could have put it in the bank to earn interest. I was astounded that in Jesus' day they had banks who charged interest just like today! That's amazing to me.
I've also heard that the Bible mentions horses in Egypt at a time when Egypt hadn't been introduced to horses per the archaeologist. But they are going by when horses appear in Egyptian artwork, not really when they might have first been present inEgypt. Not every aspect of local life ends up in the artwork of kings.

Why did Jesus have to die?

adam was tempted and sinned by eating of the fruit.
he missed out on immortality by being denied the tree of life.

sir823 minutes agoSo he could make a comeback by possessing the body of a delusional transvestite living in a dumpster?
Are you kidding? Why would he have to live in a dumpster?Oh, never mind, I know why!! Dumpsters are made of metal so you get a better streaming signal for i-phone downloads. Obviously he wanted privacy to stream Christian gospel music. He's sounds a bit of a freak to me, though. -

LorenzoSmith,
I wasn't saying Jesus was sitting upon two animals at once, but that two animals are mentioned as being used to ride in according to Matthew.
And this is not propaganda. My same point that this is problematic is found in the footnotes of the New Jerusalem Bible and the New American Bible. It was not a Jewish perspective but one I learned from Christian academics and scholars.
And I know everything the JW have said about Scripture. I was a JW for many years and have a large library of Watchtower publications at my fingers. I've read everything back to the very first Watchtower, Charles T Russell's writings, Rutherford's books, all,the publications that followed by Franz, volumes of Watchtowers, Aid to Bible Understanding, Revelation! It's Grand Climax...!, the Insight Book, Make Sure of All Things, the Live Forever book, all the latest pubs on JW.org too.
So I didn't make my comments up, I have read the Watchtower's view, and I find you very hateful and disrespectful towards me and desirous of only jumping to conclusions. Oh well. If I was only like you and shared your religious views!
Very sorry. I apologize for coming off too strong. But you did give an example, of all examples of a contradiction that doesn't exist. And now that you are not saying he sat on both of "them" animals, but that only Matthew includes two animals whereas the others don't, then what's wrong with that? Matthew is not contradicting here. Though it seemed to me you were implying that. Matthew was just filling in more detail. Was he lying about the she-ass being there though?
Sorry I misunderstood you. Glad we got that cleared up. Thanks for setting the record straight.

Are you kidding? Why did Jesus have to die? He had to die to offer up his perfect, childness body for the inherited death sentence upon Adam's chidlren.
Furthermore, Adam understood precisely what he was doing. He made q choice. He chose to worship and love his wife more than God. That was his choice. It cost a lot.
But underlying Adam's fall is who else got the death sentence, namely, Satan. The test was really a test for Satan. To see if Satan could resist killing billions of innocent people. He couldn't after it was all over. Satan ws frustrated, particularly since the creation of man.
You see, after Adam was created, Jesus, who is Michael the archangel, fell in love with him, that is, with mankind. God recognizes this special love Christ has for mankind by allowing his new wife to be chosen from those among mankind. So you have an angel marrying humans, basically, only the humans, of course are converted to angels. But his new wife essentially takes the place of his old wife. His old original wife was the most beautiful angel in all of heaven, whose beauty corrected him/her. Christ's love for humanity likely pushed Satan over the edge. How could Christ prefer a human, which was no more than an animal to Satan, over him, the most glorious angel in heaven?
So when a chance to kill Adam came up, along with all his offspring, he knew Christ would be devastated and that felt good enough a cause to die for. So Jehovah sort of arranged a window of opportunity for Satan to destroy mankind, but in the process Satan destroyed himself. In the end, Christ's love, mankind, becomes his new but true wife in heaven.
But that reflects on the personalities of Satan vs. Christ. Christ is a kind of down-to-earth kind of person. Even when he was human, he liked hanging out with "real" folk, prostitutes and tax collectors. He didn't like those who were self assumed and haughty and liked being the important ones in the room. Christ found mankind so beautiful and charming, he just couldn't help fall in love with him. this totally pissed off Satan, of course, so Satan tried to get revenge by killing Christ's "new love." Satan didn't care it would mean his/her death, since he was frustrated anyway. He probably figured God would devise a way to kill him off one day anyway or cast him into prison, so why not die a grand death with a grand finish. Kill off the beloved of the Creator and his favorite son who refused to join Satan's rebellion. That is what Satan thought he was doing, until God mentioned that, "Oh, BTW, when I said 'In that very day you shall die," I didn't mean a 24-hour day? Is that what you thought? Oh, sorry. I meant my 1000-year long day."
So in the end, Christ and Satan get divorced and he gets to marry his new love, lots of mankind. And everybody lives happily ever after without Satan around.
Why did Christ have to die? He had to die as a perfect, faithful, human so he could save mankind. Many of whom (1,440,000) he will actually marry; his new wife replacing his old wife, Satan.

So, this religion is accusing whoever denies that Jesus is the Savior of all humans. However, Jesus wrote nothing for us, and his followers gave us a contradictory set of books,
Actually, all those contradictions have been rectified. Like Jesus being in the grave three days and three nights, ending Saturday night. Clearly he died on a Thursday. No problem, per the bible he died on Thursday, Nisan 20th. So many "contradictions" in the gospels are due to incompetent misreading and interpretation most of the time. There are no contradictions. But if you have a favorite one you are still in doubt about, please let me know.

A historic note on the amount of faithful witnesses in Germany
by Saintbertholdt inwhat percentage of witnesses were actually faithful in germany after 1936?.
what i mean by the above question is what percentage of witnesses actually remained active?
(those who went to underground meetings/memorials and attempted field ministry).

pg 72 - the purple triangles were assigned 1937/8
The Purple Triangle designated the following prisoner groups:
- Bible Students
- Seventh Day Adventists
- Baptists
- pacifists
- possibly New Apostolic communityThis is quite fascinating. I didn't really know the numbers. But in general, the purple triangle seems to have represented JWs. In the movie, "Holocaust," for instance, when what the various patches meant, it mentions the purple triangle referred to "Jehovah's Witnesses." That segment can be seen in a video presentation of "Jews and Jehovah's Witnesses" below.
The fulfillment of the "disgusting thing in a holy place" requires fulfillment in connection with the "holy ones" and the "holy ones" have two branches, the "greater number" and the "lesser number," The "greater number" is a reference to the Jews, the "lesser number" is a reference to Jehovah's Witnesses. The focus of the Nazis on Jews and JWs, thus is not incidental.

How do you know Satan didn't inspire the Bible?
by Coded Logic injws believe that satan knows things about the natural world (like how it was formed).. they also believe that satan can influence events (even fulfill prophecies).. the bible is the source of great confusion and the vast majority of christians (2.2 billion people) believe it but do not have "accurate knowledgetm".. from the jw point of view, wouldn't it be more likely that satan inspired the bible than an all loving god?.

James Mixonan hour agoIt would only make sense, He is the ruler of the world. He hoodwink Adam
and Eve right from the start. I must say Satan is a very smart cookie.Satan was a murderous bitch, actually. The thought of killing men was like the ultimate hit of crack. It was thrilling and addictive.
But yes, Satan, in particular is very, very smart. That's why her Mother Goddess imagery often relates to knowledge and esoteric understanding. Often the secret knowledge is represented as milk coming from her breast. So yes, Satan offers knowledge, but it is often false and misleading.
