What would Witnesses reaction be to Mark Sanderson getting buff?
by LogCon inwith the increasing obesity of the world's population, it would be a good example if the governing body started eating healthy foods, excercising regularly, and getting to a proper weight.
i suspect each and every gb member has high blood pressure and would be considered either obese or overweight.
it really is a terrible example to the flock.. however, what if.... mark sanderson started buffing up?.

why Jehovah's witnesses? not yaweh witnesses?
by purrpurr inthis i never understood, the publications say that gods name translated from hebrew is yaweh.
why add a whole bunch of letters and vowels that change the sound of the name completely?
i've often thought surely we would gain greater respect on the ministry if we used a name that is historically and verbally accurate?.

and why do sooo many jw's in the lesser-developed countries insist on using the word jah ? does the WTS approve of this?

i first blundered onto this site---and thought it was the official watchtower site--and quickly left.
later---i met CANTLEAVE who told me the basics about this place---so i joined---4 years ago.
when i first started posting---i was f*cked over pretty hard by some regulars---accused of trolling etc---till cantleave stepped in and reassured everyone i really am a mentally diseased apostate----( long before the gee bee thought the idea up ).
the rest--is a complete mystery

Playing the dating Game..............how do you play?
by KateWild ineveryone knows i have been playing this dating game, and what a fun game it has been.
i have met a few nice guys but remained strictly platonic, and also met some really pushy guys too that just wanted sex.. i have not met mr right yet, but who knows what the platonic guys could evolve into.. it's all a game and anyone who says they don't play games when dating is lying.
does a man always have to make the first move?.

Hello
by lurkernomore ini thought it was high time to introduce myself (without my name of course).
as my name would suggest i have been reading your intriguing post, thoughts and discussions for some time now.
around 3/4 months to be exact.. i guess to start with it would seem fitting to give a little background on my current situation.. i'm a born-in, but have over the last few years found that through a number of varying occurences, (some of which i may discuss in future posts) that my 'zeal' has gone from regular field service and meetings to no service in over a year and very sporadic meeting attendance.
