  Rant Against the Borg HERE! NOW!

  do you have a particular set of issues that really honk you off about the borg?.

  would you like to just vent sometimes without having to engage in a drawn out discussion of the topic?.

  MB sweetheart my heart aches for you! I will pray that you get your babies back, i can't begin to imagine how your heart has been broken because of that evil bastard religion!

  Right *rubs hands together* i'm gonna vent now!

  The WT took my childhood thru to my 20's.... My chance at having a fantastic education and succesful career... They were the reason i ended up in therapy because of the horrific abuse i endured... My parents gave them everything and are now jobless and homeless! I have had to start again as regards education, friends, home etc! GOOD GOD I HATE THEM! I HATE THEM WITH EVERY FIBRE OF MY BEING! I HATE THEM FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, MY FAMILY, TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE LEFT AND THOSE THAT ARE TRAPPED! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  This Years Memeorial and MY heartbreak

  so...this years memorial came and went.. on saturday my mom called to invite my wife, myself and my two little girls to the memorial on sunday, i said thank you but said that we won't be going.. on sunday my older sister called inviting us also.. we didn't go, since my eldest daughter asked about it, i explaine dit to her and asked my wife and her if they wanted to do it at home and they said yes.. so after dinner, we all partook of our lord's sacrifice and i explained to my daughters how the taking in of christ's body and blood is symbolic for become one with christ and god.. we always remember christ and his sacrifice and last meal whenever we eat and "say grace" but, becuase of the whoel memorial meal thing, we decided to do a little more.. i read from luke and john.. it was very nice, very special.. then this morning at 8:30 am my mom calls and reams me for 40 min over the phone.. why anyone would think that i or anyone else would want to be a part of an organization that fills people with som much venom and spit, is beyond me.. she basically said that she gives up on me, that i am taken by satan, that satan is working through me and leading me and tha her heart is borken for my little girls.. my mother.... my heart is broken, there is a pain in my gut....

  Oh Psac! {{hugs}}

  What happened with your mom is typical jw behaviour...Thats not your ''real'' mom who spewed all that abuse, it's the ''cult'' personality that has a true grip on her. No one can take the pain your mom has caused you to vanish, but you can rise above it and show her that non jw's are loving and kind and truly love our Lord.

  It sounds like you had a lovely memorial last night. I pray that you have many more.

  Shelby i'm glad you stayed at home, i was really worried you would go to the hall and catch something horrid! I hope you had a wonderful evening. I like to partake of the emblems and give thanks privately to. I feel it's something thats between me and our Lord. Babysprout has recently started taking it and really understanding what it all means. Usually when i go to take the emblems i aske her if she wants to join me and she always replies ''thats ok mom i took them earlier''... She likes to bring me the crackers and say ''mom i have your angel bread, come on''... She a precious little madam! Lol

  exwhyzee i can't get the video to play!

  Jamie last night i had a feeling thats what they were doing...She's the PO's daughter so i bet she was asked to pick some out.

  several times i have let different ones sitting by us or our waitresses, see that huge table of people over their, we use to be right in the middle of it, but right now they are "shunning" us for reasons they dont even know!!! normal functioning people cant even understand that, i just turn over to this group and smile... feeling good i just "told" on them......fun times,

  I hope you tell them that they are dubbies! Nothing like a good witness! Hee hee!

  They are just so out of line it is unbelievable.

  YUP!

  Botswana some shun if you are not in their congregation! It's all bizzare!

  have been away for the weekend to the races in doncaster with friends and some of hubbie's clan...had great fun and lovely surprise birthday cake today too...appreciate all the lovely people in my life these days.....and i'll be partaking (privately) after sundown here too!.

  In the July 15th WT about Apostates did any one notice that they use the same illustration they used in the Movie Doubt

  did anyone notice that in the july 15th wt right after the apostate article the next one is entitled "scattering feathers in the wind.

  " it is the exact same illustration that philip seymour hoffman used in the movie doubt to meryl streep when she was accusing him of molesting the boys at the school.

  the wt says it is an old jewish tale.

  My dubbie SIL who is 42 won't watch anything over a PG! She might see actors kissing or saying a naughty word! Grief she does my head in! *shakes head* Sorry LITS totally off topic. *Retreats to put a pot on*

  I think anyone who is thinking of becoming a JW should be encouraged to go a Kingdom Hall and anounce themselves as a former JW so they can get a first hand taste of how you are treated if you ever leave it.
