Birthdays are the best!!!

I have sent carrot out for fish 'n' chips...I have been waited on all day, it's been really lovely! Back to the grind tomorrow though *sigh*.

i'd say my worst is sometimes i don't like to deal with important things and don't unless necessary.. my best quality (and there are so many that this may be difficult.

Did you ever find the meetings refreshing?

i can remember one pompous elder asking me "how can you be depressed after sittiing through such a wonderful meeting?!!".

i only ever felt relief at getting away, what about you?.

Sorry about the blank post...I have no idea how i managed to do that!

The meetings were very draining for me...I hated every one...Horrible things!

The only exciting bit was fish and chips on a thursday night after the meeting! lol

Why Don't JW Congregations have a Choir?

even if it were just four or five good singers that practice during the week and get to know the new songbook well, this would benefit the whole congregation.

music is such a vital part of the overall emotional connection to the gathering, a well-rehearsed choir singing along with the congregation would encourage and uplift, don't you think?.

what is the society's reasoning for not doing this?.

My worst i would have to say is my fiery temper!

My best is... ummmmm... i would have to say... *taps side of head with finger*... The way i find beauty in everything!

so oompa got df'd this week...

no call to invite me to a committee meeting...no notification of deciding i should be df'd....no telling my jw wife of the announcement...not a chance to appeal what i did not even know what was going on...my mini-serve son is devasted....he even researched it....told me to go to page 153-154 of the od book...never heard of it but it is a green hardback given to all who are to be baptized.

wow...the elders broke every rule in this book as to my case.... i have no respect for these men that can take away your jw family without even telling you they are going to.

my jw son has now begged me to meet with my committee...even though there is prob zero chance they can reverse the decision...that chance is from when they let you know...and you have to appeal by letter within 7 days (i cant make this stuff up!!

Laverite i had everyone singing 'Happy birthday'... I felt very special lololol.

Little imp i had a chocolate fudge cake! I hate carrot cake bleurgh! Oh dear that doesn't say much about carrot! lol.... I have been very spoilt, i think i need to be spoilt like this everyday! I totally deserve it!
