  You did an excellent job of summarizing the ten issues you addressed. You are no doubt an honest and intelligent person.

  When you are ready you will face the inevitable reality to which your thesis leads you:

  Yes, and even IF the WT filled the role of FDS officially at any point of their history, in view of your first nine points it would be interesting to ask: Have they PROVED to be FAITHFUL or DISCREET??? For example, if their teaching regarding the Kingdom of God vs the Image of the Beast is accurate, were they 'faithful' or 'discreet' by becoming "unevenly yoked" with the UN?

  Don't be afraid to face the answers. It does take courage to face the pain. I like the analagy of What_truth.
  The brian surgeon is smart enough but refuses to accept the evidence because of the consequences. It is difficult but as Jesus said "the truth will set you free".

  lately on this board there has been a couple of threads that show how much the watchtower is being effected by the open communication of the internet and web sites like this one.

  they are changing long time policy and trying new ways of getting their religious product to the market.

  no longer do their leaders hear the voice of god and then pass it directly on as unwavering guidance to their customers.

  They now have to run god's instructions by their legal department as well as their marketing department. They have exposed themselves by doing this as exactly what they are, a tax exempt publishing and real-estate development company disguised as a religion.

  this place has helped me to "face" my parents.

  they are 87. my dad has been diabetic for 40 years and has lost the lower portion of both legs.

  Linda Hitler - Part I

  most of my problems in life stem from the day that as a seven year old that my uncle persuaded me that hitler had a daughter called linda who lived in hamburg.

  linda hitler he informed me with a wild-eyed whisper lived on schopenstehl strasse and was a rather plain-looking young girl who worked at a pastry chef in one of the more up-market hotels that had survived an apocalypse of bombing during wwii.. .

  well, it was not actually the process of persuasion that convinced me of the existence of ms. linda hitler, after all i was seven and he was thirty something, but it was his fervor that did it.. .

  We Should Go On The Offensive Against The Elders That Come After Us!

  instead of allowing the elders to run roughshod over us, i think we should start thinking of how to get to them before they try to impose their will upon us.

  some may not care if the elders and society suddenly went after us.

  but just out of principle, we should not let them do anything they want to us in their shunning treatment.

  I agree, with qualifications.

  The bros that DF'd me were just like me about 5 years ago. I think they will wake up soon. They all volunteered to be on my judicial committee, I think to try and protect me from the Pharissees on the body. After lagging for several months they finally followed through loyally obeying the WT.

  I had a case against the brothers who announced we were apostates 6 months before the final judicial hearing. I consulted with an attorney and I probably had a real lawsuite but did not pursue it. I hope those who do have a case, legal case, go after the self righteous janitors and lawn men drunk with power as "Elders", but remember there are some genuine men who have a good heart who have not opened their eyes yet.

  the elders are untrained volunteers

  HEHE this seems to be refering to J.R.Brown's comments in recent years. He is named in the Anderson lawsuite for his bungling. Yet it is not just him, I think the WT it's self is backing against the wall.
