How many letters have been sent to the branch by honestly distraught people with serous concerns? And no real consideration of their doubts have been given nor any good explanation... Just; everything we can tell you is on watchtower library, talk to your elders about it, etc.

2007 Awake mentions Child Abuse in Australia!

in the october 2007 awake!

page 11, the b0rg had the audacity to say this concerning child sexual abuse: "sadly, though, most of such [child abuse] crimes go unpunished by authorities today.

in australia, for example, it has been estimated that only 10 percent of offenders are prosecuted, and few are convicted.

what do you think of the following line of reasoning for helping a jw start to think about what they are admitting.. (essentially, the organisations way of handling child abuse has been wrong, harm has been caused, god is now putting it right.).

Have heard some JWs use that line of thinking:

"Jesus has full control of the congregations and if there is a problem he will sort it out, he might be using the RC for this purpose"

They also thought the new policies that might be introduced (if it is Jesus wish) will be applied world wide; "Jesus is using the "excellent" legal system in Australia to better protect children world wide. After this "cleansing", our accusers cant say anymore about pedophiles among JWs."

RC investigation into child abuse among JWs is faith strengthening to some?

Slightly better but I have to stick my ear to my computer to hear it. Those guys are too far from their microphones. Thanks for the work you put in it.

Yeah, the audio on the stream could have been a bit louder, I believe using headphones could resolve your issue

I think you are referring to day 2 part 1 and 2, the synced versions of day 2 have slightly louder audio (boosted as much as the YouTube editor was able). Hopefully it is enough for you to be able to hear what is said.
