  PC - This might sound crazy, but in my various interactions with JW's over the years, I have seen their eyes look like that in that picture. I keep thinking it's my imagination, and then I'll see it again. It always scared me. I don't want to hijack your thread, but I had to say something. Have you seen it too? Do you have an explanation for it?

  Yes, interestedone, that look is called "absense of thought and reason". It's the look I, too, remember clearly, and was the inspiration for how I embellished this scan from one of the publications.

  I was also inspired by the evil sneers I got from life-long JW friends and relatives when I was reaching out for help from these people who were supposed to be my brothers and sisters. I was making assertions that some children were being abused in a JW home, was demanding the elders intervene, and I was met with the most demonic smiles I have ever seen. It was like a nightmare. So surreal.

  so this weekend my wife had a major grand mal seizure for the first time in her life.

  she was rushed to the er.

  a few hours later while i was at her side she had another major one.. it was the scariest moment in my life.

  why did they include the idea that rutherford would only accept the mansion if it was deeded to the ancient worthies?

  the article clearly states the house was for rutherford so why add a crazy notion that its going to be turned over to the bible worthies upon their imminent return?

  it scream cult when they included this crazy notion of ancients beeing on the deed.. if wts followers didn't mind rutherford having a mansion when the country was entering an economic downturn why would they want to report the idea of the building being deeded to king david?

  how would you respond to the assertion that 7.2 million members of the jehovah's witness religion are not under any sort of mind control?.

  the argument being that every one is responsible for their own actions and cannot blame the indoctrinator for what he says and does.

  how could they possibly be under mind control?.

  A youtuber, FredTorres1000, a JW, has been attacking Craig’s assertion that the JW in the video is under any sort of mind control, and in fact, denies JW’s are under mind control by virtue of the idea that mind control doesn’t exist.

  YET, when asked the same exact question the JW in the video was asked, which is basically, “what happens to any JW who openly expresses dissimilarity or congruity of thought?”, he also cannot give a direct honest answer. We all know very well what the answer to that question is. The incongruent JW is shown the door, labeled “apostate”, and cut off from all friends and family.

  If mind control does not exist, and if JW’s are not under mind control, then 7.2 million JW’s who would most assuredly give the very same evasive non-answer to such a question, but who KNOW the true answer to that question, are simply blatant, deliberate, evil liars. They are imitators of Satan . . . speaking of which . . .

  Mind control is a core fundamental doctrine of the WTBTS. Interesting that Fred attempts to deny JW's are under any kind of mind control by denying the very notion of mind control. The GB and their publication writers have always asserted that Satan and the demons control the hearts and minds of those outside the organization. Mind control. If mind control does not exist, as Fred asserts, then Satan and the demons do not exist. If Satan and the demons do not exist, then Jehovah and a spirit resurrected Jesus Christ does not exist.

  Without religion we would simply have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, now that takes religion.

  sounds to me like theres a demon messing with your life. happened to me. they don't like it when someone gets freed and attempts to free others. they put a stop to that asap. however nessecary.

  Yes, more superstition, mysticism, demon paranoia, more fiction, and lunacy is what is needed to help a fictional person with fictional problems.

  thanks to all who have given me such support this past week, for your kind pms, and all your hints and tips for leaving..or slipping away.

  hubby threw out all my wt and awake literature yesterday (going back to 1983, it was a lot!).

  ive read so much, heared testamonials, done my research, taken on board your help and suggestions.

  Think about how this is going to sound to the doctors: I am sick and having seizures because my husband doesn't believe in my religion anymore.
  
  Daniel, you can have your breakdown later. Stop it.
  
  Now, is the time stand up and fight. Fight like you never thought you could. Confront, face, dominate, take control of the situation.
  
  If stress is the reason for her medical problems, explain it to the psyche docs at the hospital. If she blames you for her stress, your apostasy, tell the doctors, let the JW's tell the doctors, let your wife tell the doctors that she is in this position because you are having dissimilarity of thought from the religion. Now, THAT sounds absolutely lunatic, doesn't it, that everyone is freaking out and attacking you because you are doubting the religion. By doing this, you will get professionals on your side. You will have the power and the ability to make those attacking accountable for her stress. You will gain rational support. Simple. Once you have established the freak show that is going on, the doctors will act in her best interests. You are still her husband, and you have the legal right, no matter what, to advocate on a strong level and get her professional help. If she is that bad off emotionally and psychologically, they might see fit to admit her for evaluation, at which time you get to tell your story and get some support.

  The WTBTS tells us that God only answers the prayers of those who work in harmony with those prayers. This is bullshit double speak for, "there is no god, and you have to do it yourself anyway". Forget God. If he exists, he checked out like a high school senior after finals, and doesn't give a shit. YOU have to do this yourself.
